Brandon (asst. manager) rented an RV site to us at the last minute because our truck broke down on the Hwy and he sent his maintenance crew to tow our RV, they are very good and professional men that works at Carefree Valley. I would recommend this mobile home park if you're traveling through Harlingen. Thanks for your generosity and help during a stressful time for us. Blessings to the employees at Carefree Valley.

I had a package delivered to my moms lot and since they changed everything into a mail room with a cabinet that anyone has access to with NO CAMERA so anyone can steal it the package was stolen. $300 worth of stuff stolen from thieves who have no life. If anyone from Carefree sees this review please do not deliver packages here unless it is ups, fedex, or Amazon because they will steal it or get a P.O. Box. There’s no camera and when I asked to see if they can look into they said they couldn’t. There’s not even a lock on the door for the packages to be safe. I feel so sad for people who try to get packages here especially the elderly!

My husband and I had started going to this park in 2019 the peo6there were super nice and most we consider as family. Management was okay then as she was new. The following winter we came back and the park was being transformed into a family park and no longer 55+ park. They moved in so many families and had lied to them telling them they were leasing to own for 5 years not telling them after that five years then they get to start buying the home. Families have moved in and out never stay because they were lied too. Management even make the renters replace the appliances when they go out and these are and were new homes. The park has bad water pressure backed up sewers the adminities no longer exsist the pool is never cleaned even had to report to Texas health department because it wS so green the mosquitoes were so bad. The hall has a window falling at the pool. Most of these recent comments reviews are the owner and management team. NEVER FALL FOR THIS PLACE THEY TELL NOTHING BUT LIES.

This park has come along way in the past year and there’s more improvements to come. Pool is clean with new furniture, and great playground for kids to play. My family and I love the community and all the great people living here.

My sister in-law & brother live here and first off wow there’s so many things I could say! 1.) the property is beautiful, the homes are well maintained, & every time I’ve visited my sister every interaction with the staff has been pleasant. My sister says anytime there’s been any issues that the assistant manager promptly gets someone out there! 2.) the park & pool is nice and definitely very well maintained. So nice to have these options for those with kiddos I’m excited to give them a call about renting as we’re moving to the valley!
