After staying twice about three months apart in a tent site, I noticed the amenities list needs to be updated. The bathrooms and showers were locked during both stays, and in fact, every bathroom in the entire park area was locked. I'm not sure what the city expects people to do when they charge for camping but don’t provide basic facilities. On the positive side, the host was friendly, the sites were clean, and the area was quiet.

Quiet and affordable, bathrooms need to have the spider webs vacuumed out all over

Previous reviews talked about problems here . There are new managers and they have eliminated the problems mentioned. They guard the showers and you get a key from them. The showers are great! Good pressure and temp. The bathrooms are kept clean. Great walks around the rodeo grounds and the park. Again, great new managers make this a good stop to camp at!

Very nicely maintained. Camp host Jon and Trish are great people. The drugged out people walking through or driving through made us a little uncomfortable there, not enough to keep us from going back. However, there was a police presence throughout the day and evening. Wonderful dog park as well.

Very nice municipal campground. Full hookups and sites for all sizes of vehicle. Reasonable rates and good shade. Close to the highway but quiet. Plenty of room to exercise pets. Perfect overnight for a road trip. It is right next to the rodeo arena. I expect if there was a competition going on it would be busy.
