The people who run it are so kind and welcoming. The bathrooms are kept clean and the campsite is very quiet with great access to the lake and a little park. I had to go back home after only one day and they were incredibly accommodating and understanding to refund me the nights I would not stay there. They have other amenities such as a rec centre, where they have bingo and other events. Close to the highway but over the breeze of the lake acting like white noise, you don’t hear any traffic, plus it’s quick and easy to find and close enough to commute into the city from! I would 100% come back here again, but I imagine in the peak season thou might need to book well in advance because of how nice this place is 😅

Super affordable and well worth it. Staff is super nice and understanding. Nice docks to fish off of and in a very secluded area but also close to town. Definitely a place I’d stay at again

A great stop along the way on our road trip south. Great service and long time campers are very friendly! Loved this experience with my family.

Nice place. Nice people. Didn't get to stay long but the bathrooms were a 7/10. There is effort and they were clean. Definitely feels like a community. Would come back again.

The best thing about this campground was how level our site was but it was pretty much a negative experience after that. We arrived to raw sewage left behind from the previous camper. I informed Ben at the front desk, and he thanked me for letting him know but there was no attempt to clean it up. We did as much as we could. There seemed to be very little maintenance as the dumpsters were overflowing and we woke up to the campground septic alarm going off. What a stink! The seasonal campers were friendly but most if the sites were packed with people and vehicles (not well-kept for the most part). It’s too bad as with better maintenance, some upgrades, the enforcement of campground expectations, and less overcrowding, this place could have great potential. I would not recommend staying there!
