Outstanding place. 50A full hookup. Ate at Katies several times. Katies is part of Carson Valley RV Resort. Outstanding. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi on the second floor. Very nice and quiet. Located 14 miles from the Navada Railroad Museum and 17 miles from the Virginia and Truckee RR. Virginia City is also very close. You can drive to Virginia City or take the V&T RR.

I stayed in the RV portion. We booked 2 months ahead and were told they wouldn't assign spaces until 3 pm the day of check in. My wife and our friends showed up at 2:30 to be assigned two spots with no grass, trees or room to relax. Our spots were 100% asphalt, the angle of the back in left our steps almost ont top of the back fence, the picnic table was a foot from the sewer line and our friends plugged in and blew their breaker and had to move to the other asphalt spot on the other side of us. Meanwhile there were spots in the back with shade and grass. Our trailers were no longer than others that got grass. Check in makes you walk in to the casino. The highlight would be the bathrooms and showers, clean and modern. Will be hard pressed to return here.

5 starts in not enough! :) We stayed at the RV camp which is very nice, and used the hotel amenities. As for the RV camp - it’s very nice, there’s full hookup, there are picnic tables and space for each RV, quiet atmosphere. The hotel how a pool, jacuzzi and a small yet fit to workout fitness center with 2 main gym machines that has various options. Right next is a convenience store which is very useful and pretty close there’s a very cute coffee shop- bling dog. Highly recommended if you’re in the roads :)

We stayed in the Carson Valley RV resort that is part of the Casino. It was WONDERFUL! Clean, friendly, affordable, the showers were awesome! The laundry room was the lowest price we have seen in our travels! 1.50 to wash and 1.00 to dry!!!! Bathrooms were spotless. The park was quiet and our fellow rv'ers were terrific. You also have access to the pool in tge Casino!

Not your typical RV Park but a great experience nonetheless. This park is essentially a parking lot with a small patch of grass and a picnic table next to each side. The views are unbelievable and you can see the mountains in every direction. The biggest plus was the access to the pool/hot tub and casino in the resort which were both kept up very well. The bathrooms and showers at the RV park were some of the best I've ever seen. They were completely spotless and clean. Overall an interesting location but a great experience.

Mari was awesome!! She went out of her way to help up get extra sewer hose-cuz in 20 years of camping (some trips like this one 10 weeks) never had need for more hose then we had (14’) We have stayed here before in the old-sold off section-it was more like “camping” But what seems ridiculous is all the new sites seem to have hookups that were at the very front of site! Maxed out our electric line and most of the water hose. Took a while to rehook up due to how we had to park on edge of our pull thru site to get close to hookups. Others in the park were complaining too, should have placed all hook ups midway on each site to accommodate all types of Rvs. The RV Park has very well kept grounds, laundry rooms, pool, restrooms, & showers.. though shower room has an automatic light and turned off during the end of my shower with no warning, room was pretty dark. And like some of other campgrounds there is noise from Hwys 50 & 395 junction. This area of the park is fairly new and basically blacktop and gravel sites, the few trees are small so little shade(they need time to grow).

We usually stay in the RV park and love it. The staff overall are very nice. The staff in the restaurant is hit or miss and same with the food. Overall the cafe is decently priced and the steakhouse is good. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and casino and hotel staff is very friendly. The slot options are good and they have table games as well. A great local feel every time we visit.

This place was really nice to stay at! Unfortunately we weren't able to try the steak house, but the location was nice and quiet, the coffee shop has delicious drinks at very competitive prices, and the 5 times we ate at the Cafe were all great.

CVI is always great for stays in the Carson Valley. Rooms clean and nice. They have options with a lodge and RV park as well as the in. It snowed while we were her. Cool but sun came out each day. Coffee shop has great coffee.

Nice. Small spaces. Little space for tow vehicle or truck for fifth wheel. Nice laundry area. But we were there to visit family so space was not important to us. But definitely a very nice area

Drone on the Go

Absolutely a great place to vacation or just stop by for a weekend. The restaurants are amazing and great prices. The food portions are huge. Everyone was so super nice from management to house keeping. Saw a show while I was there. Trace Adkins. It was awesome. I will be back as much as I can
