Great campground! We will definitely be back. Loved the brand new showers and bathrooms - super clean. Management was very nice & helpful. Rates were very good. I loved the paved walking/bike path that is adjacent to the campground. A few things to be aware of: worth it to go see the different sites & hand pick yours. Many were unlevel or small/narrow and odd shaped. Also the traffic going by the sites up front is loud and starts up early in the morning. With a little careful consideration, it's a wonderful place. Has a playground but no other entertainment, which was fine for us.

I wasn't planning to stay here, as I was headed to Ludington State Park without a reservation (my bad) only to learn it's closed until summer 2025. I was happily surprised by Cartier, which is just down the road from the state park. It's a GREAT campground! Brand new bathhouse, where the showers are separate from the bathrooms, which are individual LARGE stalls. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. If they aren't in the office you can reach them by cell. The sites are plenty roomy, and the spot where I parked my tent had electric and water and faced the lake. They also have rustic tent sites. It was quiet and peaceful. The campground is adjacent to the Cartier Park Pathway, which is a beautiful paved city park through the woods. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

my buddy and i booked a rustic site with no power or anything and it was a neat little site with plenty of room between others. plenty of nice bathrooms and showers and some nearby docks for fishing. we had a lot of fun. if you buy firewood make sure itβs from them there at the site and itβs dry not wet. we made that mistake lol

With the state park closed, this is a very good alternative. They offer rustic to full hook up at a reasonable price. Brand new bathhouse are super nice. They have a paved walking/bike trail plus mountain bike trail. It is in the Lincoln lake and only a couple miles from town. You can get shade or sun sites. My only negative is sites are small, no privacy unless you are on the outer loops, but they seem to be occupied by seasonal campers. We stayed 3 nights and it was pretty quiet

Planned a birthday camping trip for my girlfriend and decided to stay here and it was great! We arrived on a Thursday and stayed until Monday morning and have zero complaints with the park! We stayed in the rustic campsites and really enjoyed ourselves. The camper/rv area was pretty busy but the tent sites were fairly empty and was very quiet. The location is super close to town for quick trips to a store and close to the Ludington State Park where we spent most of our time hiking the trails and taking in the sunsets on the beach. The rustic sites had a new bathhouse which both the bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and taken care of. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice park, sites are spaced apart nicely. But, our grand dogs got so many tics on them, I don't think we'll go there again.

Sure wish I could give a -5 star review cause by god I would. Let me start it off with we stayed for 5 days at this campground for the second time in 2 years. Last year was very unpleased with the customer service so this year we decided to try to get started off on the right food. We first thought to let them know to keep us at the back of the campground to not cause any problems with people. While getting there, did not give us any time to set up camp before someone was at the site complaining about either our campers, our boats, or music. Not a single camper in sight on our side of the campground, yet they still decided they needed to come and yell at us for any minor mistake we did. Every single day we were there someone either called us or stopped at our site to complain about something we were doing. Figured being repeat customers and renting 4 whole sites that before people piled in for the weekend that they would be a little more laid back until others arrived. Boy was I wrong. Staff was completely disrespectful to us. Instead of talking to all of us as a group they decided to wait until 1 person was around to confront. Thought that was kinda funny. Last day, sunday mind you, we accidentally missed checkout. Was 11 oβclock, we started packing around 11:30. Got a late start not a big deal. They decide to YET AGAIN stop by the campsite to complain about us not leaving on time. By the looks of it it looked like they had people lined up and down the street waiting for us to move so they could move in. NOT! Completely disgusted with hospitality, they know absolutely nothing about it. The older woman that works there is embarrassingly rude, Iβd be disgusted if that was my kids grandma. Scott is just as much of a whiner as everyone else there. We will never be back, we will tell everyone we know in the area to never use them.

This was the 1st time going camping Labor Day Weekend in 2 years and the 1st time at this campground. This place was perfect. It was clean, the bathroom and showers were clean & they were scrubbed and wiped down daily. The bike trails was amazing. It was good for the kids to go off on there bikes and not be far from site. Kids made new friends. Our Youngest learned how to ride a bike this weekend. Our neighbors were so nice & welcoming. Plus, this campsite was close to town. Definitely going back more times next year.

Would not recommend this campground for relaxing. It sits next to a cemetery and a busy road. The campsites themselves are decent, however the bathrooms are absolutely gross. The staff needs to clean these multiple times a day.

Awesome campground. It was clean and well taken care of in addition to having friendly staff. It's also located next to a dog park and easy bike trail for kids! Lincoln river was beautiful to wake up next to. π Happy camping! βΊ π³ π’πππππΈπΆπ°ππ»π·πΌπ±ππππ
