We have been coming to this campground for many yrs now. The stay is always enjoyable. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Its a family owned campground with 90 acres of camping. Lots of trails and activities to enjoy while camping. Staff works hard to make it a nice place to stay. My only complaint is other campers who are self entitled and dont leave the sites as they found them. If your a true camper and enjoy the exspearience of camping then you wont find a better campground for the price. I love this site.

Some of these google reviews do not do this place justice. Super friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean, not updated but clean and functional for a campground. No one harassed us for using the bathroom after dark like one review said. The pool behind the country store is open, mind you it is cold as the river. The roads are typical campground roads. We had an amazing time. Will definitely camp there again!

We went to camp for the weekend took all family including pets with us. Campground seems very outdated and not well kept. There's not a clear pathway to get to the camp sites. Most of the staff was rude when talking to us. My pets aren't use to go out a lot so they were a little nervous and were barking when people was getting close so the staff told us to keep our dogs inside the car or else we will have to leave. Our dogs were calm by the time one staff member got to our campsite to ask us to move from the campsite to another campsite it was already pass 9:00 pm and our dogs were already quiet. They told us to move or leave they didn't care that we had kids with us or that it was already dark to start moving everything to another spot. I went to the office and I ask them to let us just stay for the night and we will leave the next day. They agreed but if our dogs keep barking we will have to leave right away. We stay the night just because I didn't want to risk driving at that time of the night with my kids. The whole night our dogs were quiet, but we hear other dogs barking the whole night and people screaming very loudly. The next day the lady told me to come back but not to bring my dogs. Honestly I didn't want to be rude to her, but will never go back to that place. Is very expensive for the service they offer. Place isn't worth the cost.After that we stay in a state campground and was way cheaper and service was way better. Went there because someone recommended to us but if you are looking for a family/pet friendly campground this is not a good option.

Stayed 10 days and was very excited....extremly disappointed and will not stay again. Bad/really bad.....Rundown, needs major updates, needs new requirements for full hook up "full time residents" (looks like a trashy trailer court), massive remodeling needed for entire campground, playground is somewhat dangerous and nothing for small children, rules state children not allowed to be running everyone unattended yet they were in middle of road and very loud/obnoxious. Good....very easy access, tons of available spots, two grocery stores within 15 min drive and every person in both towns were incredibly nice, ice & firewood are reasonably priced for location, lots of hiking trails/waterfalls nearby.

Apparently we aren't allowed to use the restrooms from 10pm-6am......?!?!?!?! Security yelled at us for using the bathrooms at 12:30am when we had to go!!! What are we supposed to do if we have to go #2!?!?!??! We're in a tent and don't want to poop in our site. Because, you know, that's crazy..... last night, security tore down the road going at least 30mph, kicking up dust everywhere, and told us to go to bed because it was 10pm. There were 3 of us eating food and talking with indoor voices. They said it was past our bed time, and we needed to go to sleep in our tent.... WHAT!?!?! They said if we didn't go to bed right now, they were going to kick us out. They said we had a curfew to be in the tent, and we were violating it, and if we didn't like it, we could leave and go somewhere else. We didn't have anyone camping near us. We could camp on the side of the road anywhere in the world and have a better time. We won't ever be back. This place used to be great a couple of years ago when we were here, but the "security" they hired has made it more of a chore than a good experience. Don't come here. Go literally anywhere else. Also, the power and water hookups didn't work in our site that we paid for. This place is ridiculous....... unreal.

Very convenient campground on the cowlitz river, comes with full RV hookups and a Zipline. I will definitely be coming back in the summer to float the river and to use as a base for some backpacking trips.

They were friendly, but need a better system on their visitors to the park, instead of first come first serve. Need to keep better track
