My 10th summer here brining my grandkids. I look forward to this trip all year! We love all of the grounds. We have done both cabins & RV sites. It’s beautiful here! This is the absolute safest place in the world to bring kids. Everyone watches out for all the kids and everyone know at any moment a kid will pop out on a bike so the speed limits are like 10 km and they are enforced!! Exceptionally clean and well cared for. The canteen prices got a bit pricy this year so next year we will have to make less trips up to see Sheila and Rena! All the new additions Walter is putting in will only make this place even more enjoyable There is a new policy in affect this year signing the waiver so make sure you know the waiver regulations before you go. Any time you have expansion you always have to expect more regulations so it’s just a part of the process to keep everyone safe. Can’t wait to come back next year. Great job Walt and a special shout out to the office girls. It’s a lot of work and they do it well. Thank you Sheila & Rena I’ve read some negative reviews about the noise from seasonal campers. Yes they do enjoy the summer spot where they choose to spend their summer and support the campground. Yes they can be noisy on the weekend BUT this place is so large and seasonal sites are in one section. There a multiple options and choice of sites that offer quiet and privacy. I’m in the cabins this weekend and there is some seasonal campers near but I can’t hear any of them when I’m in my cabin. If you prefer a quiet place, when you reserve just ask to be placed around site 212 area. Very peaceful and private camp site.

This campground is well maintained. We had a mixed camping experience. Our stay was from Thursday to Sunday, we had until Monday booked, but decided to check out a day early. Thursday and Friday were nice, it was a fun environment. Thursday night was quiet, Friday was not. Saturday there was a group of boys, that likely are regulars, that caused issues and made it unpleasant and unsafe for my children. My boy got punched in the face and had several other bad experiences throughout the day. I decided to check out Sunday, told her why, the issues with the boys and if I can get a refund I would like to leave, and was told I would receive a refund for Sunday night. I pack up and then I am told they can't give me a refund. Saturday night was loud after quiet hours. The camp ground had a concert, very cool band but it was loud late, 12:30 was the last time I had checked. Also just loud around in general. The regulars like to party, quiet hour is not a thing on weekends.

I want to give this campground a 5 star review, however a couple things were disappointing but the future looks promising. The camp sites themselves were amazing. Loved that they were spaced out, in the woods, lots of trees and privacy. There were some activities that were advertised that the campground didn't offer: Basketball nets (my son is big into basketball and would have liked the nets to be ready, the lady at the front desk said that the map and site has said there are basketball nets for years, however they are not installed yet. The water slide was not operational. There is an arcade however it is not open apparently because they are waiting on a security system to be installed. The washroom near our campsite during the day also smelled like cigarette smoke, I assume kids were smoking in there as it was during the day only. The lake itself is not very usable unless you have a canoe or kayak, there didn't seem to be any boat rentals / gear available to rent although the site said there was. There's not a good spot to fish from shore. All this being said, it really is a nice campground, with excellent lots and a lot of potential... if some of these things are fixed we would definitely consider coming back.

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid-August. Sites were large well maintained and had full hookups. Firewood gets delivered to your site depending on NS burn ban. There are lots of seasonal campers but still lots of sites for travelers. Nice lake to paddle board or kayak, just let the dog have a swim.

Beautiful campground, wooded sites are very spacious and private. Pool and playground for the kids. We don’t use the washrooms or showers so I can’t comment on those. Firewood delivery to your site. Staff are super friendly. Gave four stars because it can be very noisy on the weekends, quiet hours don’t seem to apply on Saturday night.
