I consider this place to be a sleep away camp hotel. I mean it's got an indoor pool so it's treated as such. a great way to not only make friends, but to also have fun.

We made reservations back in April for Nudefest and reserved a campsite there. We were really looking forward to this since we haven't been to a nude music fest in years at a similar resort in WVa. My wife was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her bons all over her body. In just 5 weeks her health has deteriorated so bad she can only take a few steps. I contacted the management here and explained my situation and let them know there is no way we can make it. Although the tickets are considered non-refundable the management did all they could to refund us. You have to appreciate someone doing that for you when they didn't have to.

Updated Summer 2025, Original Review at the Bottom Unfortunately, our most recent visit to Cedar Creek wasn’t as friendly or accommodating as we’ve experienced in the past, or as advertised on their website. We’re a group of about 13 friends in our 20s and 30s, looking to reconnect with naturism in a respectful and genuine way. We planned our visit weeks in advance. I emailed ahead with several questions, and I appreciated the initial helpful response. However, my final email went unanswered, which led to some confusion when we arrived. When we arrived, we were met at the gate by the staff whose demeanor was far from welcoming. This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed a cold reception at check-in. In the past, I’ve defended it, telling our newer guests that the front desk doesn’t reflect the warm and friendly community that exists beyond the gate. We’ve always felt safe and welcomed by the kind, easygoing residents who always made us feel respected. However, this time, things were different. The pricing and membership fees we were told at the gate didn’t match the written information I had from our earlier email exchange. One member of our group, who had already paid for an annual membership, was suddenly told she’d need to pay another $25 just because she brought her partner. For context, my wife and I were only charged $25 total for a joint membership in the past. The inconsistency made us question whether this was just poor communication and not a potential anti LGBT stance. The situation was upsetting and unclear. We were also told that the pool was out of service, which was a major reason for our visit. Many of us had traveled from across the state, including one friend who drove three hours, so this last-minute update was frustrating. Faced with the confusion, unwelcoming tone, and lack of transparency, we chose not to stay. It was a difficult decision, especially considering how much we’ve loved this place in the past. That said, we want to be fair in our review. Cedar Creek has long been a space where we felt safe and comfortable practicing naturism. We’ve been visiting Cedar Creek since we were 25, and we’ve always spoken highly of the people inside the grounds. The second pier, in particular, is a peaceful and beautiful place to spend time with friends under the sun. For experienced naturists, this place can still be a great destination. However, if you're younger or new to naturism, it’s important to feel welcome, especially when trying something as vulnerable as social nudity for the first time. We had hoped Cedar Creek would continue to be a yearly summer destination for camping and cookouts, but at this point, we’ll be holding off on any return visits until there are clear signs of improvement in communication, consistency, and hospitality. Our Former 2021 Review: We're a couple in our mid twenties. We felt hesitant being the youngest people here but everyone was very nice and let us keep to our personal space. We went for the simple day pass which gave us access to basically three main areas; nature trails that took you to the small creek in the back, public space with tables and open spaces to have a picnic, and the main reason we came here; the outdoor pool. The indoor pool/hot tubs appear to be closed during the day. We will definitely be coming back.

This is a great place to visit. The staff and members/visitors are extremely welcoming and include you in all aspects. There's plenty of trails to walk and a lot of activities to do. I plan on becoming a full member soon and will be experiencing my first Nudestock this year. I'm really looking forward to it. I just wish I lived closer and so I could visit every day and wouldn't have to get dressed when I leave.

The campground itself wasn’t bad. It’s a campground, it’s not going to be a five star hotel. However, a lot of the amenities just aren’t taken care of. In my opinion, it’s overpriced for what you get. To get the cabin for two days, and all the fees associated, it cost us about $400. The problem is, it’s no different than any other campground except you can be nude. And honestly, most other campgrounds have more to do. It’s boring there. Certainly don’t mean to be rude, but it’s pretty much geriatric. They offer discounts to younger crowds, but a younger crowd is not going to come in there when the nightclub is playing 50s and 60s music. It’s just not going to happen. The people staying there are incredibly nice. The staff is incredibly rude. The outdoor hot tub wasn’t just not working, it was green and filled with leaves and stuff. I don’t know, I mean, if you are a lively person at all, there was just nothing to do there. Just not worth the price, especially with the rude staff. I guess the best way to close would be, we definitely won’t come back. I have a pool at my house, which is the only thing this place has going for it, and I can be naked in that.

We enjoy visiting the Creek. The members are always welcoming and staff friendly. The rates are in order for what your getting. We love the cabins, but seriously disappointed with the central hot water heater. Yes a few dollars need to be poured into the facility, but the memories are worth the visit. Overall the location has been one of the greatest draws. This resort has a huge potential that hope to see sooner or later. Of course we applaud those who turned the property into a resort for anyone who appreciates all natural beauty and nature. We look forward to seeing everyone there in the future.

Because they pack us in like sardines The power will not stay on. Within 24 hours the power went off 4 times already. They are over charging on rates and have nothing to offer their patrons. The staff are anything but friendly. This was Memorial Day weekend don't recommend this place this will be the last time we come here

Had a great first time there. It was what I was hoping for. A clean, friendly, quiet place to just relax. It's not a five-star hotel, but it certainly is a five-star campground. Clean, everything worked and the people were friendly. I also liked that it was adult only. I wanted to avoid hearing the sounds of little ones screaming, playing and having to dodge wayward beach balls, frisbees and pool noodles. I will definitely be returning.

This is a clothing optional resort that has a camping area and many events to keep everyone relaxed and having fun. While we was there they had dancing in the club house a coupe nights and a low country boil that was very good. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and respectful. My wife and I felt very comfortable and made a few new friends as a bonus. Everything we tried was in working order and clean. We highly recommend a stay with them and we know that we will return soon.
