My husband and I have been to several RV campgrounds in Maine around Freeport . We found Cedar Haven Family Campground this year and we were totally delighted. The staff is friendly, the campground is beautiful and well kempt. The playground is fantastic, they are pet friendly and actually have a dog wash. I strongly recommend Cedar Haven. We will be going back for the 2026 season. The other RV parks pale in comparison. Good job Cedar Haven.

We loved our stay at Cedar Haven Campground! It’s our favorite campground so far! It’s family friendly, with so much to keep the kids entertained: toys, scooters, bikes, balls, and multiple playgrounds that kept them happily busy the whole time! They had a log cabin playhouse for the kids as well which ours loved! The gem mining station was a huge hit too! We appreciated the cute camp store and the kind and helpful staff. Every campsite was spacious and we especially enjoyed having a swinging log bench at ours! The amenities were great! This was the first time we’ve seen a dog washing station at a campground, what a great idea! And a small building full of toys for kids to play with was perfect for our rain day! It was close to Freeport and Portland, and we took day trips to Boothbay and Acadia from the campground. The campground made a great base for exploring Maine. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here in our Tiffin RV for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a great place, especially for families. But we enjoyed the safe walking and exploring the park. It’s a lot bigger than we thought it was. And it’s an easy in and out from 295. We were able to explore everywhere. We even went up to Acadia National Park. It was amazing! Thank you Maine!

We stayed for one night on our way to Acadia National Park and were very pleased with our visit. The pull-through site was level and easy to access. The campground itself is beautiful, quiet, and well-kept. It’s also conveniently located near L.L. Bean and the local outlets, which made it a perfect stopover spot. Would definitely stay again!

Hands down the nicest campground I have ever visited. Very affordable rates and lots of options for all camper and RV sizes. There are so many activities available for children of all ages and adults alike. The grounds are clean and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms and showers are cleaner than even nice hotel bathrooms. Truly a hidden gem.
