If you are looking for a reasonable priced no frills getaway this is the place. Off season it's a discounted rate. We go with the hide away. Its perfect for us. Just a studio apartment style bnb. 20 minutes from her best friends place. Quite the get away for us. Having 6 adulr children at home it's nice to be able to get away.

Our three-day experience at GLOC Resort wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. When we arrived in the evening, we found the bathhouse was disgusting, and we've been in some bad places. The women's side got better the next day, but the men's side didn't improve much. The wifi was mostly unreliable, so we couldn't work. Overall, the property was nice and the people were friendly. Plus, it was very quiet. But it wasn't the "resort" we'd been sold online. I don't blame the new managers who are working hard to turn the place around and make it look great. Apparently, they inherited a mess from the previous people. Only so much can be done in their situation, and I do appreciate their efforts! For us, for what we got for the price, it wasn't worth it compared to what we got from staying on the Army Corps of Engineers property in the area, but I do think future visitors will have a better experience.

Jack and Wendy were so lovely during our stay. Best park hosts and maintenance I’ve seen in 5 years at other RV parks. Wendy is very lovely and friendly, Jack sure knows how to make your stay feel special and warm! RJourney sure has hands down the best employees here!

This a park is owned by RJourney, a corporation. We booked a trip recently and our Motorhome broke down and as a result we had to cancel our trip. We were told that there is a 24 hour refund policy if you cancel within 24 hours of booking. We called 30 hours after booking and they refused to refund our money. When asked repeatedly to speak to a Manager we were told there is no one else to talk to. That said , in effort not to lose our money we reluctantly re-booked for another date. However the new dates were $20 more per night. Then we asked about another date a week later and was told that date would be $30 more. This firm claims to provide top notch service on their website but THIS is NOT my experience. I understand policies, but as a 35 year Senior VP of of a world class organization, I know bad service when I experience it and also know the value of making exceptions under right and true circumstances. I rarely ever write negative reviews, but would hate for anyone else to have this experience. Stay away from RJourney parks. Unless RJourney has a solution to my issue, I respectfully do not want or expect to receive a fake response as I have seen in other reviews.
