I’ve been staying out here all summer and I love it!!! Showers are clean, there is a pizza spot. And apparently they do a brunch also at the park store. Might be a separate entity but still nice to have! The beach isn’t too bad, but be careful of the currents.

We saw so many bad reviews that we were hesitant to book here, but it’s such a great deal for the Hamptons that we took a chance and I’m so glad we did. The glamping tent was lovely - comfortable bed and they provided towels and shampoo & conditioner which was a nice bonus. The tent was right on the water and we got a beautiful sunset. There is beach access in several locations very close to the tents (ours was just feet away) and you can walk along the water and swim. It was very peaceful. A perfect way to end the weekend for us. We also enjoyed pizza at their restaurant. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

“Repulsive and Horrifying”, “Hell on earth”, “Human rights violation.” These are terms I would NOT use to describe the men’s public restrooms at Cedar Point campgrounds. There’s no shortage of wonderful things I could say about Cedar Point, but THIS REVIEW WILL FOCUS ON THE MEN’S BATHROOMS, as they were unequivocally the highlight of our trip! -An impressive legacy: There’s an info plaque explaining that the Cedar Point men’s bathrooms were actually designed by the same guy who designed the award winning Marriott Bonvoy bathrooms. And it shows! Don’t let the humble exterior fool you-once inside, you find yourself in a sparkling palace of grandeur - the PINNACLE of luxury! - Smart Showers: To shower, simply fashion a complex system of levers, pulleys and wheels to activate the water sensor. The showers are conveniently bluetooth enabled and accept Bitcoin! - Welcome to the ELECTRO-DOME: There are charging outlets on all the walls. None of them work at all but it adds sort of a fun “cyberpunk” decorative element! - Customer service: They have a 24/7 concierge at the sink who will give you a complimentary spritz of cologne, a mint, and a steaming hot-oil wrist and ankle massage. He doesn’t take no for an answer! He lives in a hollowed out space behind the sinks i think. -A flourishing ecosystem: If you’re like me and totally geek out learning about the local wildlife, you’ll appreciate the abundance of new and freakish insect species that will crawl up your legs while you piss. There are LEGIONS more insects INSIDE the men’s bathrooms than there are OUTSIDE in the woods, which for many, is a perk! According to the gals in our group, their restrooms are nothing like the men’s!? they said it was “very gross” and “pretty much what you’d expect for a campsite public restroom”. I really felt bad for them, so I am docking (1) star. We will be returning!

Nice wooded county Park. Sites only have water no electric or sewer. They do have new dump stations for 3 campers at a time on the main road. Sites are not very level and there isn't much cell service but still a decent place to camp

Such a beautiful quaint park- would recommend staying here albeit please be informed on the below before you make the trek out here: 1. Some of the staff is very kind but it seems that they have newly enforced rules that not all members are up to date on and there was one woman at the front desk that took this all very seriously and was quite intense - we received conflicting information depending on who we asked but on the way out a nice man at the front helped clarify all these check in guidelines to us. 2. Checking in with a car requires documents that are very strictly enforced…green key, car registration, license and proof of annual inspection. The reservation holder absolutely needs to have all hard copies of these items up to date and present for their car/any other car on the reservation or else you will be asked to leave the premises immediately (which unfortunately happened to the second party in our group). 3. If you have 2 cars staying on your site (which we did) be sure to have photos of all the above documents for the second vehicle with the reservation holder when you check in (photo proof we confirmed was fine for the second car at the original check in as long as they were not the reservation holder) - they will not allow the second car to check in at a later time if you do not show all their documents at original check in. This is very strictly enforced. Again, this park is beautiful!! We plan to stay here more often and over-all the staff was wonderful. While the ‘rules’ are strictly enforced and rigid- there was confusion amongst the various staff members and a little hostility from one in particular due to the confusion. I would just make sure you read all the rules and regulations/come prepared.
