My wife said the staff was very friendly. The grounds are clean, the thing I did not like was how close to others you are. I was so close I could not fully extend my awning with out hitting the neighbors. To give a little more info as the neighbors kids jumped around in there trailer we could feel every jump they did on ours. And the last thing you should know is they charge to use there fire rings witch we could not use due to how close we where, and your solo fire pit is not excepted. So if your going here try and get 8-13 they have allot more space, that is unless your ok being that close to others you don't know. Again the staff was great just not the camping places for a travel trailer.

Campground is well maintained with a short walk to the beach through the dunes. Loved the central access rec room, cleaning station and bathrooms. Everything is a short distance from the camping spots and the additional parking. It's a nice quiet area that they dont let get too loud, which I appreciate so much. We love to be out camping to enjoy nature, not our neighbors full blast music, or unleashed misbehaving dogs. The rules are very clear (and normal) so anyone complaining about them didnt read what they signed. We leave home to have some peace in nature while camping and fishing. We saw deer walking around the campground, and got to see the brown pelican migration, as well as some whales from up in the dunes. It's a great place to get away. The camp host was hilarious and was great at keeping the peace with the rules. It was a very safe space. Will recommend this place to everyone i know.

If you’re a family with kids, do not stay at this campground. What was supposed to be a peaceful family getaway turned into one of the most stressful experiences we’ve ever had. The rules are completely unreasonable. Children must be within arm’s reach at all times — no joke. That means no bike riding, no exploring, no independent play, and even laughing too loud is a problem. We were constantly being watched and corrected for completely normal kid behavior. We were even threatened with being kicked out because our kids were exploring just a few steps from our campsite — still in full view. The owners lurk constantly, standing in their windows and watching guests. On the day we checked out, they literally watched us pack for over an hour. It felt invasive, uncomfortable, and honestly creepy. The sites are crammed together, with no privacy. And the so-called “community fire pit”? One evening the owner stormed over, poured water on the fire, and kicked everyone out for no reason. Not exactly the welcoming campfire atmosphere they claim to offer. The environment was so unpleasant that we spent an entire day off-site at the beach just to escape the campground and feel like we could breathe. That’s not what you want when you’re paying to be somewhere. And to top it off, we witnessed the owner call the police and CPS on a father who was holding his baby while having a disagreement with management. The police arrived, did nothing (because the father hadn’t done anything wrong), and left — but the fact that it escalated that far was outrageous. This campground is not family-friendly. It’s over-policed, hyper-controlling, and completely devoid of the relaxed, welcoming vibe you’d expect from a place like this. We will never return and would strongly caution other families against booking here.

Wow this place is actually a joke. If you are alone, deaf, childless, no dogs, and want to be in bed by 9 every night then this is the place for you. We couldn’t even enjoy ourselves here because we were constantly getting scolded and harassed if the kids were more than an arms length away from us (this is an actual rule here so be careful if you are ok with your kids running around and exploring because this will drive you nuts). Even though this place is tiny and you can literally see the whole campground from where you stand at all times, your kids will not be able to run around, explore, ride bikes, or take a walk unless you are within 12” of them, otherwise you get yelled at. One of the managers literally screamed across the campground “whose kid is this!?!!!” Because he was poking around in the grass on his bike and we weren’t standing next to him even though we could clearly see him. So because we were busy making sure the kids were basically glued to our sides, we had a hard time talking or enjoying ourselves. Kids should be able to explore and have fun when you go camping. This was not fun for them at all. 10pm is strictly enforced even though they offer a communal fire pit, you are not allowed to talk, socialize, or laugh too loud after 10pm. The manager came over and dumped water on the fire while we were all still sitting there because we were having too much fun talking apparently. Someone got the cops called on them for child safety by management because they argued with her while holding their baby. The next morning she intruded on our sites while we were having breakfast with our kids and friends to then scold us again about being too loud the night before. Absolutely not ok. She also stood in her window with her arms crossed watching us while we were at our campsite with the kids (also did this while we were packing up our trailers to leave). So we decided to spend the whole next day at the beach and didn’t come back until midnight because we had such a joke of an experience within the first 12 hours. Didn’t even get to enjoy what we paid for. And they will probably respond to this and say it’s a liability, or they take their guest’s safety and comfort seriously, but the fact of the matter is you spend so much time trying to catch everyone doing something wrong that you ruin any possibilities for enjoyment. We’ve all been camping a million times and your military, controlling perspective on how to run this place due to claims of safety is actually laughable.

Great little campground! Full service, great wifi, clean spaces and full hook ups! Such a short walk to the beach, it was lovely. Its nice to see the effort they put into maintaining the grounds. The owners are super nice and theyre eco friendly as well so thats a plus. The rec room was the best, they have tv and everything in there. Super nice for the rainy days when tent camping! Will come back again

Nice! Multiple rv spots. Good rules in place to ensure a good experience for all, person in office read them over.
