They accommodated our later arrival time; the cottage was clean and tidy; the cottage had all the amenities you'd need for a nice weekend getaway; I noticed two things during our stay that could be improved: 1) is the maintenance of the carbon monoxide/fire alarm detector. When we arrived, the detector notified us that it was running low on power. While we e-mailed Cedar Valley about this issue, no one from management came through or checked on us over the weekend. I suggest having an off-hours line for renters to call for non-emergency things; 2) This is fairly minor, but I noticed a build-up of pink gunk around the toilet water, indicating that the toilet has not been scrubbed for some time. While the bathroom was generally clean, it could use just a tad more care.
