Cedars Edge RV Park

I recently visited Lake Murray RV Park with my son, who was considering renting a camper space. During our visit, another resident of the park approached us and confronted us aggressively, yelling and creating a very hostile scene even though we were polite and explained we were only looking. She then sped through the park far above the posted 5 mph speed limit, throwing gravel and shouting obscenities in front of management and other guests. After this outburst, she went to management and claimed I was a troublemaker, resulting in me being banned from the property and my son being told he could not rent there, even though he was ready to pay a substantial amount. The park took her word without investigating or holding her accountable for her disruptive, unsafe behavior. It is very concerning that a resident can behave like this publicly, endanger others with reckless driving, and then dictate to management who is allowed to rent spaces, while suffering no consequences herself. This raises serious questions about how the park is run and who actually has authority. Potential renters should be aware of these issues and use caution.

This RV park is very well managed and has everything you could ask for. They have full hookups, a laundry room, open area for kids to play, and right around the corner from Lake Murray. The manager is amazing and you can tell they take pride in their park.

It's under new ownership, and the owners have hired some great park managers who are working tirelessly to make the park beautiful. The park requires a background check for anyone staying longer than 2 weeks, that you must be able to pass to ensure that the park is as safe as possible for the community. It is a long-term month to month park. The monthly rent per site is $475, and that includes electric service 30- and 50-amp, water, sewer hookup, and Wi-Fi. There are NO daily or weekly rates available. There is also a laundry facility with 6 washers and 6 dryers that are coin operated for the residents' use. The cost per load is $1.50 in quarters, whether washing or drying. There are two guests' bath facilities with shower room, sink and toilet for guests to use. There is a coin-operated vending machine that the park managers will be filling soon with a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase. There's also a change machine for exchanging dollars into quarters for the laundry machines or vending machine. There are 5 dumpsters on the property for guests to use that are located throughout the park. There's a fenced dog park with a trash can and dog bags to clean up after your pups. There's also a covered pavilion with picnic tables, lights, and BBQ grills for having gatherings and social events. There are also corn hole boards in the works and horseshoe pits for some entertainment for the community to enjoy. You can also have mail sent to the park address, if you need it. This is a really great place to come and set up camp for the night or longer.

I loved the park when Lisa owned it.. she was very kind and helpful with the rent with her customers. I hate to hear she sold it. Would of came back in a few months if she was still the owner.

I’ve been here a little over a month and have nothing but great things to say about cedars edge. Stacy Cross the new owner is very kind and accommodating and obviously wants to make this place the best it can be. Park is quiet and residents and visitors are friendly and cordial. Nice laundry room with snacks and nice private shower/bathroom areas. Very clean.

Decent little park right off the highway. Gravel pads with hookups. A little low on the front end made for the tongue being pretty high when level.
