Love going here, was disappointed that the host had to remove his halloween maze. We were excited had watched him getting this together on several trips. Went halloween night and it was taken down. My grandson was so disappointed. I heard a guest complained. That seem crazy since it was posted that the campground celebrated halloween with the community. Still love camping here but disappointed we missed the host kindness doing something cool for the kids.

My kids and I enjoyed the paved .6 mile hike, Cave Creek trail, the Nature Center and the playground close by. The Nature Center did a snake event that was so fun and my kids even got to hold a large snake! The only negative I will mention is that I could not find a baby changing table.

It was our first time camping here and we loved it! Campsites were clean and large. Staff members were friendly and helpful. There were also several trails that we went on that were full of adventure. We will definitely be camping here again in the future!

This park is absolutely beautiful. We stayed a few days to rest, as we're moving cross country from Virginia to Alaska. They accommodated not only our 5th wheel but our enclosed trailer. They're pet friendly too. Showers were immaculate. They don't have sewer.. They DO have dump stations for campers. ❤️ You won't be disappointed with this state park.

It's a great trail! Although my daughter's couldn't go all the way, it was beautiful. Tons of shade from the trees. Beautiful open areas to sit and take a break. Every person we passed on the trail were super friendly as well. We got to see a ton of horses also walking the trail. I can't wait to go back and do the whole thing, without my kids of course lol.

Nice place for kids. And to go for a walk. Very pretty area wish there was more water for a state park but other then that it's good.

This is a decent state park. We enjoyed camping and hiking and visiting the butterfly garden and nature center. The bathrooms and firewood were the only complaints we had: there were feces in one of the showers one day and the next day it was still visible in spots and stinky in there. There was also poop on one of the toilets in the women’s restroom one evening and again in the morning. (Maybe they only clean it after I had seen it, but still gross) Firewood is $6 a bundle and it is very green, not seasoned at all. We had to split it into tiny pieces and use several fire starters throughout trying to have a fire so it was not very enjoyable. We tried to return the second bundle since it didn’t burn (we didn’t want to use it or take it home since you’re not supposed to move firewood from state to state anyway), and they said we could not get a refund. Not a huge deal, but just wanted to let others know that it’s not a good place to get firewood for camping unless you want to douse it with lighter fluid or something.

Lots of walking trails for every abilities. Clean quiet. We really enjoyed going there spending the day. The rangers are helpful.

Cedars' of Lebanon is a really nice state part. We stayed 3 nights in our Travel Trailer. The campground host was very friendly and helpful. The campsite we were at was a bit small and close to the next camper, but there were many others to choose from that were more spacious and shaded. There is plenty of hiking in and around the park. I really enjoyed the boulder beds on the Cedar Forest Trail, but the special habitat of this region is the limestone glades. Glades range from bare rock to a thin substrate of soil with desert-like vegetation to shallow soil grasslands. The glades may be small or large open areas surrounded by cedar trees. When we were there in late winter there was not much to be seen in the way of wildflowers, but the trails were very quiet and pleasant. Also, if you want to spend a day in the city, Nashville is less than 45 minutes away.
