Location, location, location... the heart of this little RV/tent campsite is the location on the lake. It's view is beautiful and offers a stunning view of the sunset. They have loaner life jackets for the kids and a few small adults. Please be certain to return them for future users to borrow. The water is wonderfully surrounded by layers of rock. Do be mindful you are a visitor to nature! ...Watch closely between the layers of the rocks and water edges for snakes as this is their habitat. There's a little island out across from the campsite, not too far to kayak to. The right facing side is easier to navigate onto the island as the left side tends to be more moist; creating challenging deep steps to firmer ground. Watch for the boaters as the lake is massive and has many directions to explore. The campsite areas each have a graveled drive with a fire ring, grill, water access and electricity. There is a bathouse equipped with washers and dryers. Be sure to collect your garbage and dispose of it properly in the gated dumpster.

This is my first time visiting the campground. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I will have to say that the view of the lake is spectacular! I am in site 21, drive through and very spacious. The only down side is there are limited tress so not much shade. This time of year, thats not a big deal, but in the heat of the summer it would be too hot.

READ! Staff is very rude!!! I give this campground 3 stars because I reserved 3 nights, but I suppose they noticed we left early, and I got an email with a refund for the 3rd night. This is a really cute campground, but the sites are very small and close together. The area by the lake doesn't have much shade and is not great for fishing. We were 5 adults and 2 children staying at campsite 101 and I can tell you that the campsite was long and NARROW. We were tight fitted with 2 cars and 2 tents and my friend had to sleep in the bed of the truck, which I can mention that one of the workers came by on Saturday morning and banged on the side of the truck at 7:30am asking us to move the truck! It was really rude and even during the quiet hours, totally unnecessary. Neighbors did not bother us, but seemed like they were living there on the campground (homeless?). Other sites look cute, with short walk via steps from the parking space of the car. We got away with having a few alcoholic drinks discreetly by the lake.

Great place tucked away from the busy everyday life. Great fishing and very relaxing. While enjoying my trip there I met a great couple working there named Darrell and Tina that was a pleasure to talk to and gave good advice about the area. I highly recommend this tucked away gem and kids loved the playground and swimming and beach area.

This area is tucked away off a boat dock in the corner of the lake, giving it a private and peaceful vibe. We visited the day before the 4th of July, and while it was busy, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. The space is well-designed with imported sand along the bank and a closed-off area in the water to keep it safe and contained. There are also two playgrounds, built-in barbecues, and shaded pavilions—perfect for families or group outings. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more shade and repair some of the seating areas. Otherwise, it’s a great spot to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. $5/car. --- Let me know if you'd like a shorter version or to customize it further!
