Words cannot describe how amazing my experience was. The spots are all beautiful, the accommodations are fabulous, and Jeff/Kim go above and beyond to help and make sure everyone is taken care of!

So nice here! We saw a deer swim across the river & a golden eagle within the first hour. Site 12 & 13 right on the river with a deck and the rest have healthy grass & big shade trees. Owner super nice & gives a detailed map of the area. You are a 2 minute walk to dinner & a bar. You can't beat the value here!

Wonderful place! Jeff & Kim, the owners, are very sweet, pleasant, kind, & helpful. I was here for 11 days, 7 of which my hubby was on a river rafting trip (also Fabulous - contact Middle Fork Adventures-!!!) The campground has 19 rv sites, one cabin and several tent sites. Decent dog walking area. Great trees provide nice shade. Great views. Easy walk to downtown - about 3 blocks. The guests building has bathrooms with showers and a laundry room. Salmon has an impressive grocery store for a town of only 3112 residents - the store is large and very well stocked. Our entire visit was fabulous, and Andrea's On The River had a lot to do with our delightful time here!

My son found this place online and ordered it for us. We picked site #12 which was perfectly by the river and within walking distance of the bathrooms. This RV Park worked perfectly for us and everyone was so nice. It is also located within the riverwalk.

Kim went above and beyond to help us out when we arrived after hours. Great location on the river and walking distance to the brewery. Clean and tidy too.

Jeff was very nice. We stopped by and we were able to use their wash house to get cleaned up after a back country hunt.

We came here on our 1 year wedding anniversary and stayed in the little cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. The owners are dear friends of ours and made the weekend very special for us! Loved every minute of it and the location is beautiful. It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown Salmon which is fun to explore. Would definitely go again!

We spent last night at this great little park on the river. Owner was onsite and extremely helpful. The bathrooms and laundry are older but very clean as was the entire park. The spots are decent sized and the park is real quiet and peaceful - particularly at night. I believe the owners are new within the last year and they have created a nice spot.

This is a great RV Park in Salmon. The owners could not have been more friendly, kind, and helpful. This is a smaller, older park, so the trees are huge and the whole park has shade, so much grass! The spaces are wider than average, with full hookups, and this park is impeccably maintained. They have a lovely walk out deck over the Salmon River and a huge, huge pet area-all grass, though not fenced, which wasn't an issue for us. The rates are unbelievably low, and the park is very quiet. They have multiple tent spaces. We stayed here with our two dogs, there were lots of other dogs, all leashed, well-behaved, and the other guests were very friendly. Everything in Salmon is within walking distance, the main street is a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants, a supermarket, etc. I can't say enough about this little gem of a park in the Gem State. We would stay here again any time and wholeheartedly recommend this park. It is perfect as a one night stop over, but if you are rafting, etc, it is fabulous for multiple stays.

We stayed here with some friends for four days and had a wonderful time. The owner was very nice and attentive to our needs. We had read the previous reviews and were concerned about staying but it was the most convenient to where we were going. We decided to stay and we are so happy we did. I would recommend this place to anyone who is camping in Salmon Idaho.

Don’t stay here! My wife and I pulled into the campground to spend a couple nights so that we could explore the Salmon, Idaho area in consideration of moving there. The owner/manager was EXTREMELY rude and unkind. We ended up getting our money back and leaving. Absolutely horrible customer service. If this is the way people are in Salmon, we won’t be moving there, that’s for sure!

Made a reservation and then found out I had to have an operation for cancer so tried to move it to the next year (for an even longer time). Owner is rude and refused. He then charged our credit card for more than he originally told us he would do. I am sure karma will come back around for people as heartless as this.

Salmon, Idaho 603 HWY 93 North. 19 site campground, seven big rig sites. 1-5 have concrete patios. gravel and grass. good space between sites. Located along the Salmon River. Big cotton wood shade trees. A deck with picnic table over the water available to all. Showers with good pressure, bathrooms face the river. Also a nice laundry room. Shortly after a storm the owner was cleaning up the limbs, and twigs. This is the only campground that I would call decent in the Salmon area. So many are hidden behind other businesses and junk yards. His is Woodalls and AAA reviewed. It was mentioned in Trailer /Motor home life recently. This owner is very "picky" according to some visitors. He wants dogs walked only in a certain area, and not have you park your car on the grass. If you saw the other campgrounds you can see he really puts his heart into his campground. He is an older man, at least in his 60's. We were here in July 2013 for a couple of weeks. We are here again for 8 days before moving on. He explains all the taxes which amounted to 12 %. Also he charges 75 cents per slide per day. Charged an extra $8 for our extra person (above 2). There are motels and gas stations along this road. But not much road noise or jake brakes. Our friend walked to the town area daily. The elevation is about 4000 ft, big Bitterroot mountain range still had snow on them. Town is a bit over 3000 population. Parts of it is like stepping back into the 1960's. Hospital in town and medivac. I would return again - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
