This campground was our base for 4 days we plan to hike on the North Country Scenic Trail. Since we camped in late October, we had no crowds, but we had a clean and warm restroom with showers and a very pleasant campsite. It worked great for us and we hope to be back

This is a sweet campground with surrounding maple woods that were SO beautiful with the changing leaves! We camped in a travel trailer with full hook up. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were very pleasant. We really enjoyed and took advantage of the short trail through the woods - walking with our dog several times a day. Easy drive to many attractions. We did the Skybridge at Boyne one morning and then on through the tunnel of trees and Cross Village. Another day to Charlevoix. Close to Torch Lake.

Took a fall trip with my daughter and grandkids and stayed in cabin 3. Very clean and spacious. Had a small fridge, microwave and space heater. Lovely walking trails on site with a playground. Bathrooms clean and always stocked. Had dish washing station which was very helpful. Camp store was nice but needed more snacky kind of treats. Personnel was warm and friendly. Thinking of staying again this summer with whole family!!

Tha family and i stayed here a month ago and I still think about it. From the cozy little tent space by the woods to the swimming pool. it was great. The bathrooms were always kept up and clean. First campsite I've been to where u have water/electricity, laundry room and even a cool little area to clean your dishes. The staff was awesome and always helpful. The 3 days I stayed here were so relaxing that I dreaded coming back home to reality. The family and I will be back next year. You have now gained a loyal camper.

We stayed here or a week while on vacation visiting Torch lake. The campground is nice, quiet and very affordable. The pool was nice and well kept, although a little chilly. The staff was busy cleaning the restrooms every morning and kept them fresh smelling. Our site was well shaded like most of them at this campground. Located just a short drive to beautiful Torch Lake this is a good place to stay while vacationing or just traveling through.

Chain O' Lakes is a very clean, family oriented campground. The owners are on site ready to assist campers. They are really nice people who know what it takes to make this campground succeed. As first-time seasonal campers, we are very comfortable leaving our rig there all season. We know that it will be secure. The atmosphere of the campground just feels safe. It's truly our second home, and we love it. Thanks Josh, Cameo, and all the workers you have on staff. All of your hard work is appreciated.

Our second time staying here for a fall trip. Great location for fall colors, with many orchards, wineries, and breweries among other attractions. The sites are LARGE and ours had concrete pad and patio. We will definitely make this an annual trip. New Owners (2nd year) and staff all very nice and doing many upgrades.

This is our 3rd year coming to stay. And each year, the campground gets better and better. The owners are some of the most down to earth people we have ever met. Location is just far enough outside town to be rustic, but not too far to drive a short way to a great meal. We visit 2 times a year, and we are planning a third visit for next year. If you're looking for a large concrete lot, they have them, a little more rustic dirt. They have them or place to pitch a tent they are available. We just stayed for a color tour weekend, and the leaves are at peak. If you're traveling, definitely don't let this gem pass you bye.

We love this campground. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and it just keeps getting better. The new owners have been working so hard with their staff to make lots of improvements. It's located just outside of Bellaire, and only 15 minutes from Torch lake. We love the fact they drive around selling ice cream and firewood, they sell local beer and wine in their store, bathrooms are very clean, and every campsite is thoroughly cleaned for each guest. We will continue coming back!

What a perfect campground to have a reunion. We've stayed at the campground in prior years, but nothing compares to this year (with new owners). The newly refurbished pool and playground were a hit with the kids. The bathrooms and showers were incredibly clean, as was our site when we checked in. All six people working were helpful and pleasant. We rented the pavilion -- it was clean and John and Cameo were nothing but professional. I would stay here . . . well, actually, we've already rented the pavilion for next year and plan on a bunch of our family camping together.

Wonderful place, clean, easy to maneuver camp spots, kid friendly (if you like kids.... ours are grown and out... so I prefer brat-free accommodations LMAO). I want to stop by at a better time and get a look at the rental cabins. They look cute/cozy from the parking area....although a bit smushed in together. But at the right rate, would possibly be worth a stay.

Winter camping with shower houses is open for convenience. Small convenience store talk to Debbie; she will get you a spot or help you out when she can also family owned and operated.

Stayed 8 nights and fully enjoyed our stay. I don’t understand some of the bad reviews regarding rudeness and strict rules. Deb and her assistant were very pleasant. As for strict rules, nothing out of the ordinary in comparison to any other campground. Will definitely stay here again😀👍

Very nice well kept camp ground no issues at all. Staff was more than helpful with group arrangements. Will go back.
