Chalet Et Camping La Pointe

RV Park

Overview

Overview

Travelers rolling through the Acadian Peninsula will find Chalet Et Camping La Pointe situated right in Tracadie-Sheila, NB. This coastal destination reflects the maritime character of northeastern New Brunswick, offering visitors a waterfront-oriented base camp immersed in Acadian culture. The property sets the stage for a classic eastern Canadian road trip where coastal breezes and local history meet your windshield.

Location & Surroundings

Approaching along Route 11, RVers traverse a landscape defined by saltwater bays, tidal inlets, and dense boreal forests characteristic of the province's northeast coast. The region experiences distinct coastal weather patterns, with brisk maritime air rolling off the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Flat to gently rolling topography dominates the immediate area, providing straightforward driving conditions for rigs of various dimensions navigating the local secondary roads.

Amenities & Park Features

Given the limited verifiable operational details available regarding specific on-site hookups, travelers should contact management directly to confirm electrical capacities, water access, and waste station availability. When planning your stay at La Pointe, it is best to inquire ahead about site dimensions, pull-through versus back-in configurations, and seasonal operational dates to ensure your specific rig setup can be accommodated comfortably.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The surrounding Acadian Peninsula provides ample opportunity for day trips and outdoor exploration beyond your campsite. Visitors can explore the Historical Village of New Brunswick in nearby Caraquet to experience 19th-century Acadian heritage, or travel toward Miscou Island to view the historic peat bogs and the iconic Miscou Island Lighthouse. Coastal waters also offer exceptional bird-watching, fishing, and scenic photography opportunities along the Gulf shores.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination suits road-trippers and cultural explorers seeking an authentic Acadian coastal experience rather than a resort-style RV park. It attracts travelers looking to anchor themselves near the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence while exploring the local seafood markets, bilingual communities, and scenic coastal byways of northeastern New Brunswick without rushing the journey.

Very nice place close to all services. Internally, all the services of a good campsite are present. And externally, all the services of a big city are offered. Do not hesitate.

Saturday evening when we were there, there was an outdoor party at our neighbor's house. No one in charge on the ground, no answer to the phone at 11:30 p.m. Avoid if you like to rest at night!
