Absolutely beautiful views of the lake from the cutest and cleanest cabins! My husband and myself had a great time and will definitely be back! Boat launch was nice, we are used to putting in on rivers 😂. Didn’t catch many fish but still had fun! Will have to come back when the restaurant is open, heard great things about the food!!

We just got home from camping here for a couple of days. We stayed at campsite #10. The campsite was very spacious, level, and had water & electric. The owner was very helpful in getting us set up. The place was very quite and laid back. We checked in the next day and rented a boat. The pontoon boat we rented for the day was a little pricey for the condition it was in. I counted five spiders on the boat, but they didn't bother us. We took into account that spiders are prevalent in the fall and staff was trying to catch up on everything that needed to be done after their busy season. I'm sure staff was worn out after catering to customers all summer too. All in all we had a beautiful day on the lake...even though we didn't catch any fish, we saw lots of wildlife. We had a 28ft pull behind RV, and the travel to the campground was easy. No tight spots or sharp curves. If you love nature, and love to be on the lake, you'll love this campground. They also have cabins and a restaurant if you don't want to cook.

This is the only negative review I have ever left, and I hate to, but this was unbelievable. Went there last night. We ordered one ribeye steak at $46.99 and one ribeye steak and shrimp at $62.99 were ordered. BOTH steaks too tough to cut into!!! The waitress did not come back to check on us so we had to wait for a while to send them back. Finally, when she came, she argued with us somewhat by saying, "no one else is complaining about their steak." We both agreed they were too tough to eat. Later the manager ( I think, a dark haired lady that was checking with people as they came in to the entrance) came, she was rude and said the same thing the waitress said! To make a long story short, we were not happy at all with the treatment from the staff, the food, the cost 👎👎👎👎 I will not be going back. Ever.

We rented pontoon to do some fishing and cruise the lake. Boat ran good but trolling motor didn’t not work nor did the fish finder. The young man when we brought it back said it was piece of junk. They said they got it to work by wiggling the plug(I did do that why we were out but couldn’t get it to work guess I didn’t wiggle it properly). Boat does need some upgrades does not look like picture seats are shredded and floor filthy. When we got back they never said anything or sorry just that they got trolling motor working by wiggling plug. We were going to stay and eat but we’re disappointed and Unfortunately left, won’t be back.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would but that's not an option. For one it is overpriced and the Pontoon that we were on is nothing like the picture show. Not to mention the fact that the state sticker on the side expired June 30th 2025 and they still allowed us to go out on this boat which we didn't even realize this until the boat kept stalling over and over and over multiple times while we were out on the lake with it. The pontoon was very outdated and then when dropping off they try to charge you even more for the gas that they put in the Pontoon which should be included in the price considering we rented a pontoon in Florida that cost $100 cheaper than this and way better so for Missouri to be charging the price that they did for these pontoons and then for us to have the outcome that we did absolutely do not recommend this place to anybody. But I see now that there could have been two other places that we could have run in pontoon from and that's the route we should have took.
