A great spot for a picnic or just to sit by the water. I would recommend going around the sunset time, absolutely spectacular views. You have to pay to park here.

We are staying in a cabin nearby and this beach as a popular choice for our family. Our teenage son loved coming late afternoon for a swim. It’s a bit of a pain the way you pay for parking, fine when shop is open as you can pay on there. Week days out of summer holidays you need to remember to bring a pen to fill in the fee box envelope.

Great place to swim. There are rocks leading into lake bring old Keds or good water sandels to walk in to start swimming, otherwise you can hurt your feet. I have crocs sandels and they float so if they come off you can get them back in the water. Beach is not big but offers kayaks, paddle boarding and canoes to rent. $5 to park car. Lovely lake with mountain views.

Really nice experience and a great beach access with restrooms and a gift shop with rentals if needed. We rented a double kayak for half day at $45 it was a great experience. Recommend to wear shoes there are sharp rocks walking into the lake.

Went a few years ago and still as beautiful as i remember the water so clean and fresh. We even rented a kayak which was not bad we paid $45 for three hours for a two person kayack. So much fun!

It is beautiful there. The water was low but the scenery was beautiful. We stopped just to see what is there. I noticed a small boat ramp, a campground, & currently porta potty. The shower/bathrooms are temporarily closed. We will go back later.

This was a very lovely spot to relax. $5 to park. There were several concrete picnic tables. The "beach " area was very spacious. The view and the water itself was great. I will certainly visit again. We visited on a Friday and they had the bathrooms closed and only had portapotties. I'm not sure of the reason

Beautiful park in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Gorgeous views, the lakeside beach is nice, and well maintained. Parking is 5 dollars per person though, just as a heads up, the people that let us know about this place said parking was 2 dollars. Paying for parking though was worth it, and it was for the day not by hour.

We spent a sunny fall morning here with our kids. It was nice and peaceful, just a few people were walking their dogs. It is a beautiful lake, we liked it in the summer as well. The kids had fun rearranging rocks on the beach, collecting fall leaves. It was a little bit muddy, but we wore hiking boots. It is an amazing place, even in the fall. It has a few picnic tables, where we ate our snacks. The restrooms were closed.

We loved bringing a little picnic lunch to the lake sitting in a beautifully shaded area overlooking the crystal clear lake. The water in lake blue ridge is fantastic and clear. The swim area is well marked. There was ample parking and several picnic tables, but room to bring your own as well. The best part is that the park is dog friendly. The water’s edge is very rocky underfoot in a wide swath despite the sand, absolutely very much requiring soled water shoes or at least some secure flip flopping slides.

Nice campground with some excellent sites, several excellent for RVs & a few excellent only if you are in a tent. Good access to the lake from some sites, & from the beach area. Boat ramp available. I will return, but only with specific sites reservations, or mid-week.

A great place for the kids to play on Lake Blue Ridge! Update to talk about the campground. First stay here and the facilities are excellent. Loving the view from the campground!

Looks like a great place for day visit but we Got there in Oct. Beach area was closed. Lake was low. We did manage to take the dogs off to the far side off of the beach on a rocky area. They loved it.

Absolutely love this little spot!! I was kinda sad though when we went Sunday, because the water levels were so low. I'm sure they'll be back just fine after this rain!!! My kids always ask if we can go to "the beach" 😂 they love it here

We had a wonderful time watching the fireworks from the lake and Jennifer was so accommodating. The little shop there had some great inventory for sale and I suggest you take a peak! The security was great too and we hope to make this a yearly tradition!
