It was close to home, and they let us book last minute! We had reserved at another campground, and upon arriving, they were nowhere to be found! It was pretty upsetting our kids were expecting camping, so we were so happy to find this place. Close to the highway and major roads, perfect general store with literally everything i had forgotten. Marshmallows, Hershey bars, waters, Gatorade, sweatshirts and way more! The woman who checked us in was so kind. Even tho we arrived at closing time, we didn't feel like a burden whatsoever. Rook had our wood waiting for us, and he even had us follow him to our spot so we found it easier. Then we realized they had tiny cabins for rent and opted to switch from a campsite to a cabin 😐 I thought they would be upset, but they changed it for us immediately. Rook even unloaded our wood and hand delivered our receipt. The cabin had a queen bed, 2 bunks, and a TV! We were also able to set up a tent outside, which was nice. Our bonfire was perfect 👌 Domino's actually delivered straight to our cabin as well 😆 Overall the service at this KOA was amazing and we had a great time ❤️

Specifically reserved a tent site here to have the comforts of bathrooms, showers and especially the pool. No where was it mentioned the pool was closed for the season when I booked (same day reservation). If I would have known I would have went to a cheaper campground where I'm not paying for the luxuries that are here. There is no camping sites just a free for all spot behind the cabins. The bathroom/showers are the same room and they are ok but not the standard I would expect for a KOA. Maybe because it's the "off" season for winter even though it's Oct 3.

When we called in we spoke with Melanie at the front desk. We asked if they were able to accommodate a tent and a camper in a spot and she said yes! She knew exactly where to put us and we enjoyed the spot which was site 10. Our site was very spacious and shady. They have nice fire pits and tables as well that you can move around to your liking. Yes, we were close to the road and that didn’t bother us being that we had children that can get a bit noisy at moments. Everything about our experience was nice! The staff Melanie, Sarah, Lee ( all the staff) were very kind to us! The restrooms were our favorite part because they were soooooooo clean! You can tell that they pride themselves on having a clean and well put together campground. The pool was open as well so my children were able to enjoy that amenity. They have two playgrounds which was cool. The laundry room was clean and inexpensive. Lee made a point to ask if we planned on drying and told us to skip over a certain dryer because you would have to dry twice to get things fully dry which we appreciated that tip! We are a melanated family of five, have been to several different campgrounds in Tennessee and have experienced an abundance of racism. We had such a great experience that we extended our stay from two nights to a week. Gratitude to every staff member. If you are in need of somewhere where it’s not too much going on, it’s not loud, it’s not a huge campground and somewhere safe then you would truly enjoy the peacefulness that we experienced at this campground.

We rarely stay in KOAs despite traveling A LOT in our motorhome. But this was convenient with an OK price. The good: nice people checking us in. But the HUGE and DEEP pot holes in the entrance are horrible.. and you have no choice but to enter there. We couldn't avoid them. Our motorhome twisted, shook, and torqued as our rear wheels dropped into one hole. Contents fell over. Ridiculous!! The staff said they keep telling the park owners as people complain. But they do nothing. Other asphalt is chunked and missing.

This place is very tidy and clean. All the workers are very helpful and friendly. There's a dog park, a nice pool and these cute little cabins. I didn't get a chance to check out their bathrooms, so I have no idea if they're updated and clean, but by looking at the way grounds, I would assume so. My only negative is that the sites are right next each other with not much space in between. It looks like half of the spaces are shaded, so make sure you ask for a shaded spot. Overall, great stay! Underground lake near by.
