The campground restroom is filthy and needs cleaning. Shower room needs cleaning and a good coat of paint. I can't understand why the city won't take care of this otherwise very nice place.

A bicycle ride throughout the entire park to get the full experience at ground level. I was rather intrigued with the various exercise locations that they have throughout the park, and playgrounds for children as well. Frisbee football and horseshoes are available. The basketball court could use a remodeling. Colorful flower arrangements brought the elegance of the parks' beauty along with the luscious green trees throughout and running adjacent to the Big Blue River. Plenty of parking for the family BBQ and plenty of space to invite all your friends and family for a birthday party or reunion. And added bonus they do have a full size decommissioned army tank. I was very pleased with this park and I would highly recommend it to others. Not to mention that there is another Memorial park across the street as well.

Interesting little campground right in the middle of town. Looks like it is home to some long term residents, the kind that make you feel safe.

While visiting Beatrice, NE we made camp at the Chautauqua Park Campground which for $20/night turned out to be really nice as they have full hookups and a HUGE park to enjoy while still being close to the shopping in town.
