There's no control or enforcement at Chehalis Thousand trails. A man sitting at the front of his campsite picking pot leaves off his plant. There's no campfires currently, very dry weather. The kids next to us started a campfire, lit sticks on fire and poked them in the old stump at the end of our campsite. Their parents were gone. Elderly people walking their dogs on retractable leashes, letting the dogs leave feces and not picking it up. They don't pick up after their dogs in the dog park either. Watch out for the guys on electric bikes that race down the middle. This used to be my favorite place. The staff needs help. They need more maintenance money to fix bathrooms. They need to clean and maintain the one working pool. They need to enforce the rules with consequences. Too many open campfires right now. Too much trash. Fine your campers/members. Make them accountable. Hold them responsible for when they overload and fry the electrical pedestals. Currently they do have the best cleaning staff.

Used to love camping here for many years and frequently told everybody about how great it was. Now I’m embarrassed for talking it up so much! Since coming back, the experiences have been terrible! However, this time was my final straw. We called 2 weeks ahead to make sure our families got side by side campsites. They specifically said we would have #20 & #21. We get there, and they moved one of us a few camps down. I complained to the manager because that’s not what we agreed to. He was very rude, zero customer service skills, and gaslit me saying “it’s not in my system, we didn’t move anyone”. Total BS and we will not be coming back! Also, they poorly maintain sticker bushes at the campsites. They’ve taken over and it’s highly annoying running into them everywhere you walk.

TT has been a part of my camping experience for over 20 years. I canceled and just rejoined and now they say you can pick your camp site, but you can't they assign it? In your confirmation email they don't even tell you what site they assigned you, and when you've been there multiple times you know what sites you like. Even state parks allow you to pick.

Improved from 6 months ago. We had to ask for a bigger space to actually be able to park our pickup truck also. My 69 year old husband cut back the branches himself so our 5 th wheel did not get damaged on the second site.Needs a FULL TIME LANDSCAPER. Pools were very nice and clean. Lodge very clean.A park with promise. We shall see. Good worker here that have a compassion ate ear.4 star if the sites were not so full of fauna.

Please note: we did not stay in a room. I am referring to our campsite G 10. As soon as we got there, we checked with the park Ranger, she was extremely friendly and helpful! Onto our campsite- roads are well marked with directional arrows. This campground is massive 200 or 300 acres and it was groomed, clean, and the power water sewer hook up, worked as it should.A few Sides were overgrown with yellow chain-link bits across them. Those are the ones I believe were people parked there travel trailers for long-term use, Some of those sites weren’t groomed like the others. The map was on point! The two swimming pools were amazingly clean, as clean as the promotional photo that is featured! Restrooms are very clean and well stocked. Miles and miles of hiking trail. The little store they have is packed with goodies, including T-shirts, stickers, hoody’s and caps for people that like to collect them. The cashier was very, very friendly also. This place was so awesome, that we booked another camping trip before we left for home. ❤️❤️❤️

We arrived and checked in for our cabin. The host was...interesting. She was rude and just plain awkward. The cabin had zero heat and it made for an uncomfortable night. The pullout bed was missing multiple springs and had no sheets (we later found extras in closet). The host is not reachable by phone either during the booking process. Ultimately, we decided to go home a night early. When leaving, we gave the host our key and she got angry with us that we didn't check out at 11. I told her we were leaving a night early and were booked for that night so we weren't late turning keys in at all. Over all a bummer experience and absolutely not worth the $350 we shelled out for it.

Tough to give it a fair rating since we're here off-season when stuff is closed for the season or shut down for improvements. The good: Everything you want is here, from pool to firewood and propane to a good sized dog park. As talked about extensively - the spots aren't level, but given the amount it can rain in the area this is good thing as there's very little puddling. The grounds and bathrooms are very well kept up, the work being put in is obvious. The not great: Cell signal is really spotty. In some areas it's not bad at all, others it's non-existant. Very few sewer sites. The bathrooms I saw only have a single shower stall, which can make taking a shower take a lot longer than it should. Overall, I'd love to come back and check it out when it's more open.

It is a great park. This TT is huge. There's a lot of forest around., It's got good tent sites. Lots of bathrooms, above average showers. The staff is good, friendly. You can't beat it.

Family camping site. Ideal place pull your RV into and live life away from urban crowds. All amenities your family would greatly enjoy: secured premises, trails, heated pool, game room, water and electric hook-ups available. Great place to camp!
