What a great place to camp! This place was so quiet and peaceful. The spaces are huge and a great place to spend time camping. The bathrooms were okay - could use some renovation- but at least they're available. :) There's a disc golf course in the park as well as a small zoo that's inexpensive and a nice place to visit. There's also a huge playground area for kids and picnic pavilions. We planned to spend one night and loved it so much we stayed for three!

Very surprised by campground sites are very spacious and the zoo is really cool. One thing that i should say is that bathrooms are very old and outdated. Not dirty they were clean but the paint is peeling off the walls and doors are rusty. But overall, wonderfull park.

Nice zoo for all people with a good area for picnicking and playground area. I did nit give it above 3 stars because there is a small amount of diverse animals. The enclosures for the animals seems small.

World famous, Jim Fowler a native son of Albany, GA designed the Cheehaw Zoo. The 3 male 🐆 cheetahs were the most lively exhibit. Note: the petting Zoo is only open 30min a day 10-10:30am!

This is a quiet, clean location. I stayed in a cabin but the RV spots were large and there were pull through and back in spots in the campground area. The tent area is quiet and has a set of bathrooms close to the tent area. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms and shower need updating. Everything else was amazing.

We love camp Chehaw!!!! The lots are so nice and clean. The staff where pleasant and on site almost all time. We felt very safe and secure while being able to see all the park had to offer! The bathrooms and wash facilities are not awesome, but even with that, it's 5 star to stay here! Hort term or longer term this is your home away from home!

This is a nice county park. With hook up for my RV truck camper $18 a night. There is some road noise. The spacing is really decent. There’s disc golf here. One bath house in the center with one shower. The washer hasn’t worked for a long time by the looks of it. The bathroom seemed clean just needs paint.
