There is an actual hardcover glossy paged book of pictures of the animals and species indigenous to chemy gardens.like hummingbirds ducks frogs butterflies geese fish in ponds flowers plants ect.....

It isn't for just seniors, you only have to be 45 to live there. Chemainus Gardens is a quiet, safe, beautifully maintained, relaxing pet friendly community with lovely walks and friendly people. I don't live there but love visiting friends that do....

This place used to be nice but now so many mobiles have been setup it's a zoo.

Chemainus Gardens is a adult living community consisting of about 190 manufactured Park Model homes arranged around 3 ponds in a 30 acre site. It is a very friendly community of like minded people. The Park Homes are privately owned and the pad rental is about $500 per month.

You may have read that playing has been officially banned here. But at least it's BC, so there are plenty of safe injection sites around. They haven't taken all our fun away! What a life! Please note, there has been a recent uptick in public laughter heard around Laughing Pond. At no point in time is laughing tolerated in and around the vicinity of Laughing Pond. Thank you.

This place has been really good in the past but now they are turning it into a small house community. The camping here is finished as of this year. Sorry to say that we will miss coming here.
