The campground is relatively secluded and sites are spread out nicely. It's really close to a river and we were able to float with our canoe, quite a way without issue. The roads are a little rough - lots of potholes. The only real complaint we had was regarding the restrooms - no TP and there was stool on the seats. We chose to use a restroom that was just a little further away from the bulk of the sites which was much cleaner.

Decided to rummage through the forest for pictures of mushrooms. The adventure did not disappoint

I've been to the chain of river rec area several times but usually drive farther out the road. My first time staying at the Rosehip Campground and I'm very impressed. The sites are big and spread out. There are a few double sites even in case you're going to camp with a friend. Who knew that the closest campground in the rec area to town actually gives you the most private and secluded campsites.

We camp here a lot. Usually not too packed. Beautiful scenery, great trails. We saw kayaking and tried some fishing.

Basic campground. No power, just very clean outhouses. Nice river access. Clean.
