Big beautiful park. Lots of camping areas, with & without hookups. Mostly wooded with some big grassy areas. Fairly level in RV sites. Nice shade. Good place for kids. Bath houses with showers. Portable water available.

Nice state park. The campground was nice and the spots spacious. The swimming in Chenango Lake area was fun, with an 11' deep end and diving board. The water wasn't particularly clear, but it was nice swimming in a lake. You can rent boats too. There are some very cool CCC structures there that are gorgeous

Been coming here since I was a kid way back in the 1980s... Yep long time.. been many core memories made here! They updated many things but still brings back many memories.. I been bringing my children here through out the years and now my granddaughter.. booking is not as easy as it use to be covid changed so much!

Great spot for a picnic and swim! We had. Lot of fun celebrating the 4th here and will definitely be back. I love that there is plenty of shade here! The water was pretty chilly at 75 degrees but that didn’t stop the kids

Great state park, not the least of which is it's really close by! The hiking here is relatively flat and accessible, good for young kids and those with some difficulties (depending on the trail). Trails are pretty well marked. Camping is fine, we prefer the back part of Chipmunk Bluffs, but almost any spot is good. As a side note, the Bluffs is very covered and on still nights the camp smoke doesn't disperse... So keep that in mind if you have trouble breathing. Swimming is ok. It is very geared toward children... The deeper areas are small and not always staffed. Boating is great on Chenango lake, good fishing I have been told. Never tried the golf course but my mom likes it
