Sites are spread apart, wooded and beautiful! Not a great place for children and bicycles…just sitting at our site we’ve seen numerous vehicles driving over 25mph! Ridiculous and very disappointing.

Beautiful campground! Friendly Camp Host! Beautiful lake atmosphere! Definitely recommend camping here. It didn't give me an option to talk about the sites, so Room=Site.

One of my happy places in Wisconsin. Found by accident while driving the back roads when I camped at Day Lake (at Clam Lake). Everything one wants in a trip Up North: loons on the lake, mist rising up, coffee in hand sitting on the shore, or loons calling in the night as you sit around a crackling fire; deer, bald eagles, song birds, turkey, pileated woodpeckers (three at once not 5' from me). Friends & I use the reservable sites since we come from Madison. Use the campground as a base for exploring (Hayward, Bayfield, Duluth). We go in September to avoid the crowds. Third year this year. Plan to keep going as long as I'm able.

The campsites are a nice size and spaced well apart from each other. The pit toilets are newer and well maintained. The location is exceptionally pretty, and seems to be a great fishing spot.

Best campground in Wisconsin. Close to fishing, mt biking, atv trails, and in the middle of nowhere. Sites are close but very wooded. Some sites are further apart. So great variety. Site host was super nice!

One of the best campgrounds in northern Wisconsin.

Really nice sites. I could see some campers being difficult to park but tenting is fine. Not many bugs. Quiet, but this trip was mid week. It looks like most sites are reserved for the weekend. Pizza at the rivers eatery is delicious.

Came in last minute and found a spot 20 feet from the water. HIGHLY recommend

No electric. Deep in the boonies, but on a nice lake. Good birding. Including loons. And nicely dark night skies.

Peaceful campground in the national forest on a lake that is hard to beat. Been coming here for 20+ years.
