Great small Campground with 2 spots that can take a 30 foot RV. Excellent dry fly flat when the calling artist are on.

Nice campground right next to the lake. Good sites with views of the lake, fire pits, tables and bear proof storage lockers for those tent camping. Bathroom was spotless and there are trash receptacles also. No water taps..just the lake but I wouldn't drink it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it has the worst mosquitos I have encountered all summer. Was there mid Aug '23. Cost is $20 per night or $10 if you have a Parks or Access Pass. Road in is gravel and can be washboard pretty bad in places but any type of vehicle can get into the campground.

There are about 6 spots by the water pretty close quarters...these spots are $16 for the single spots $32 for the double, check out is 2pm. Bathrooms. Trash Cans. No Water aside from Lake. *But up the road are a couple free spots if they arent taken.

These spots are first come first served, so no reservations and there are only about 7-8 sites. We were fortunate to get one July 6th-8th. Its about 8 miles outside of West Yellowstone but so quite and peaceful once you get out there. The road is rough and you may feel like your driving to nowhere, but its beautiful once you arrive. There are bathrooms out here, toilets only no showers or running water. We had site #1 and it has plenty of space. Spots would be a little snug for a large RV but there were a few average RV's there and they seemed fine. We would totally come back here for another vacation! We met the manager of the caming sites and he is awesome! Great guy and really does a good job taking care of the restrooms on a daily basis.

This place is beautiful but the mosquitos are incessant and is reason for 3 stars. Bug repellent didn’t work. Wearing extra layers helped a bit. Our second night we gathered our things from the car and bolted into the tent with no fire or stargazing. But the lake is beautiful and offers great views. Very convenient from Yellowstone West Entrance.

Free camp, actually we arrived late but there is huge places for canping so we asked a guy if we can share the place with him. It is nice lake there and the road is not so terrible as for similar camps in Yellowstone area.

Found this hidden gem after being disappointed with hoe commercialized the KOA's in the area were. A bit of gravel and dirt roads but we made it on two sport bikes. Nice big lots with a good lake! A lot of mosquito's though so be prepared for that. If you're looking for real camping this is the place.
