It is a beautiful park surrounded by Lake Chickamaga. Like all rv parks, some sites are much better than others. The price is very reasonable but there are no full hookups. So you have to have dumping carts for sewage to dump at dumping stations. Great place for boats and skidos.

We got into park and treated very nice, showed on a map where are site was, launtiand dump areas. The site are not big where we are, but other areas seem larger. Very clean and kept up.

Really pretty place, great fishing, and only $20 a night unless you live in the area then its $10. Had a raccoon come visit and it visited a neighbors' site and took over their air mattress. Fun place, even if the raccoons are little troublemakers, would definitely recommend

OMG what a great experience! You have a certain area you take your dogs and they can swim! It is so clean!! You can grill and you have tables! You have a blowup water toys! But there is a cost to play on them

We have stayed at a few different state park yurts. This is the first time we stayed at Chester Frost. Check in was earlier than most and was pretty easy. We stayed in yurts 99 & 100. They are right beside check in so that was convenient. The view from the back deck was stunning and a great way to start the morning. We had a dock right out back of the yurts so we did quite a bit of fishing. The grounds were nice overall. My only complaints (if you could really call it that) would be the bathrooms. I will say they seem to be in the process of redoing them so that’s a positive. We will definitely be back!

Very very nice park. The boats go through there at their highest speeds. Very annoying. Not good to bring your boat up to your campsite, because there are so many rocks on the edge it will beat your boat up with all the speed boats zooming by. Would be nice if they could put some sand on the side or dirt instead of rocks. Very friendly, very crowded Park. But I'll say it again. Very clean bathrooms, very very nice park. I stayed in campsite 225. Best Campsite in the whole place in my opinion.

If you want a cheap, family oriented place to camp, this is the place. They have both primitive and non primitive campsites. There is plenty of fishing spots, a playground or three, a nice maintained beach, and boat ramps to off load those boats or personal watercraft. In other words, there is plenty to do at a very reasonable rate.

We spent Memorial Day there swimming on the beach & enjoying the beautiful scenery. They have the Splash Pad up. It's a big hit with the kids. The Shaved Ice lady was there as always. She's got the Best Shaved Ice!! There was lots of people there camping out & having cookouts & family get togethers. It's a great place for that too. I wish I would have taken pics but we were having too much fun to worry about the phone.

Our favorite place to camp. Beautiful views, great accommodations, lake access points for swimming everywhere. Lots of places to ride bikes, boat, kayak, etc just pick your site wisely. There are a few great site with privacy but most are pretty close together.

Chester Frost park is really nice. We went there specifically to play disc golf and had a lot of fun. You really do have to watch out for people before slinging your disc though because of throwing across walking paths. Great course though with changing elevations and distances to the basket. I'll recommend this course to others for sure.
