We love these two courses. Beautiful greens on both. First time staying in the RV park and that was great too

I really like this course. They have a back nine that I’ve been able to play without a tee time. It’s a challenging and fun 9. Staff are friendly and helpful. Haven’t eaten at the clubhouse yet, but it smells great, and I’m looking forward to that someday

The course is in great shape with lightning fast greens. Well worth the drive from Spokane. A great golf experience.

Drove up from spokane for the a 710 tee time and was done by 11. The course was in good shape the greens were slower than they looked but we also really tough to read. The staff was really friendly and the free lunch included in the $59 green fees was great. I highly recommend if you want to get out of the city and enjoy the beauty of the Forrest.

This course was in amazing shape when we played this weekend. We played all 27 holes for about $80 and it came with a free lunch since it was a Friday. The entire experience was amazing. The staff was super friendly and made this place even better. I highly recommend this place. Some of the holes have such amazing views. Hole 9 and 12 were so awesome.

This is semi-private golf course with 27 holes winding through a pine/fir forest. The Chewelah Golf and Country Club (CGCC) development also includes a pro shop, the Rusty Putter Bar & Grille, driving range, chip & putt practice areas, tennis courts, pickleball courts, RV Park and residential sites. Chewelah is a small town with a population under 3000, so we were taken aback when we discovered such a quality development within the city limits. Trust me; do not be discouraged as you drive through Chewelah on US 395. CGCC is situated 400’ above the valley floor. Chewelah is unique in that the city has two noncontiguous parts. You enter the city on US 395, and then leave the city on Sand Canyon Road to arrive back in the city four miles later. One of the reasons the golf course is so good is that property owners pay yearly fees that go to the operation of the development. This economic base gives the golf course a big advantage over golf courses in many small towns which tend to operate in a “hand to mouth” fashion. Residents play golf for a very reasonable yearly fee and the public can play a much better golf course than one would expect. The golf season starts in April and runs into October. The actual dates are determined by the weather. When the golf course is closed the property is open for the winter sports of cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. As an aside the ski resort 49 Degrees North is located just 10 miles outside of Chewelah.

The restaurant is a really nice spot to stop for breakfast or lunch. Dining on the patio amidst the lovely golf course setting is pleasant and the food is very good. Highly recommended!
