We found Cheyenne RV Resort to be convenient for a 1 night layover, but wouldn't choose it as a vacation resort to stay at. The bathrooms and showers were clean and each site had electric, water and sewer hookups, with a dump station located on the way out of the park. There was free WiFi available but no cable connection. There was a play area for kids and a putt putt mini golf near the office. This campground is conveniently located next to Camping World for any RV needs and easily accessible from I-80, but is not in a very picturesque setting. Keep in mind that you will hear the highway noise from this location as well.

Traveling through with a pull trailer called reserved site paid over the phone. Got here terrible site no sewer hookup due to location placement of sewage tank. I went to the office was told no sites were available. However, I'm looking at lots of open sites. The management could easily have swap me sites instead I got no help. Poor service. Dirty dusty and gravel sites. Save your money for a better location with helpful kind employees.

Needed an overnight stay. This is conveniently located off of I-80. We expected to hear the interstate traffic, but oddly, we didn't. Hook ups worked fine. We already had our site number when we made the reservation, so no issues checking in. Some people say this is a run down campground. We thought it was a quaint area. Gravel sites. Not big on landscaping, but honestly, why are people complaining about that, especially if you're only staying for a short time? If you need flowers, bring your own although the rabbits may eat them. For us, this campground met our needs. In and out without issues. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Cheyenne RV Resort by RJourney a year ago and found it a bit rundown, but its convenient location along I-80 made it a reasonable stop for a quick overnight rest. On our return this year, the park appeared even more worn, and unfortunately, we’ve decided we likely won’t stay again in the future. To be fair, there are positives. Our site was level, utilities worked well, the Wifi worked great, and the staff was friendly. The park was quiet—no barking dogs, loud parties, or disruptive neighbors—and we appreciated that. Although we didn’t use the facilities, the playground, pool, and restrooms looked clean. Traffic noise was noticeable outside when walking our dog but not inside our rig. One quirky observation: rabbits darting beneath the cabins through burrowed areas. Cute to see, but I imagine the sound under the floorboards might be unsettling if staying in a cabin. Overall, while the park has some good points, its condition continues to decline. We wouldn’t recommend it to family or friends and plan to choose another stop next year.

Giving 3 stars mainly because of the price of this campground for what you get. Passing through for one night and paid almost $80 (70.19) for a full hook up site. That is very high for a basic campground that is all gravel, weeds everywhere and a bit rough looking, as well as the 50 amp power tripping several times on our rv. The plus I will give is the employee I spoke with to make the reservation was very nice and it’s conveniently located off 80 and close to town and gas/ diesel. Otherwise, the price needs to be about half of what it is now.

The wind will ALWAYS be a negative in Wyoming ...however...the amazing kind and caring ladies in the office ( 3 of them) were fantastic. They made an otherwise emotional day for me, a positive day. I will never forget their kindness. ❤️❤️❤️

We stayed 2 nights total. We got in last minute and the staff was extremely flexible with us for check in and check out since our truck had broke down. The whole park was very clean. The bathrooms, showers, mini golf, playground. It’s very well kept up. Every single staff member was very friendly. A staff member even bought my boys stuffed animals. They have coffee, the essentials that you may need while camping and a lot of souvenirs for purchase in the office. I would definitely stay there again, doubt I’ll ever be in Cheyenne again but if i am i will definitely be staying here!

When i first booked this park I was thinking "It's all gravel" ..Now i understand why..to keep dust down when that wind blows!!!!It was a great place because the Staff are Amazing, Friendly and so Helpful!!From Tammy,Donna,Hope at the reception desk to Trish and Gil maintenance. We absolutely LOVED the individual CLEAN hot showers..the BEST we had at a camp across from NY!!When the weather changed from 70's to winter storm warnings and I 80 closing they found us a spot to stay put! VERY THANKFUL for all their informative advise and just kindness.

Very nice park right off the highway. The sites are all pull-throughs. The whole park has gravel roads and pads that are flat. There is a swimming pool, mini golf, dog park and basketball hoop. Basically a big open area, no trees or grass.
