This is such a beautiful park to camp at! Whether you're tenting, using your own camper or renting cabins! I just add a reminder of how great tenting is. You get to see everything around you and see family is doing things together. You can't go wrong camping here it is so beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and up-to-date.

Large campground. One of many public campgrounds in the area. Stayed for a week after election day. One of 4 sites occupied. With the lack of campers in mind the restrooms/shower houses were very clean. Sites generally have plenty of room between. Most are plenty level. Several are directly on the lake. Comfort station was very clean and easy access. Nice trails that actually go into Yankton. Great for a bike ride. Can't say enough good about South Dakota Recreation areas.

What an absolute gem! We had a lake front cabin with a cute bench, fire pit, and grill provided. Excellent paved walking paths, you can either get a decent walk around the main loops of the camping area or there is also a very long paved trail around the lake area. Lots of playgrounds, clean restrooms with warm showers, and a nice swim area were included in the campground. If using a cabin I would highly recommend a mattress pad and some camping chair to your packing list but overall it was a wonderful experience and we plan on returning next summer with the kiddo.

Quite shaded RV electric spots. Bike path, fire ring and picnic table at each site. Paved road and campsite. Ten cabins to rent on site. Swimming beach, non engine boat ramp, fish cleaning station. Three miles to Yankton.

Beautiful clean campground. The workers were very nice and helpful. The campsite pads/spaces are very large. You don't feel packed in. I would definitely return. The restrooms/showers were kept very clean.
