Very clean. The owners are wonderful and helpful. It’s nice that they furnish lawn mowers and weed killer. All the lawns are beautiful. Some new concrete slabs for your camper. Porta potties in multiple places throughout the campground and very very clean. Great beach. They do allow golf cart which is nice. Three lakes with all kinds of good fishing. I have not met a person that was not absolutely satisfied. Period stop by Office they will give you a tour

I tried looking on their website for a campground map, pricing, and or list of rules. Nothing is published on their website regarding any of this information. How is one to determine what site to reserve? I don't want to be near the bathrooms, playground, or cross ways with headlights coming into the campsite. There are no prices published. Lastly, there are no rules published on the website. I found in the reviews that they do not allow RV's over ten years old. Our 2011 Hybrid is very well maintained. This and other information should be predominately displayed in a rules section that is absent from the website. There is no excuse in 2023 that you cannot have a section for a campground map and rules section on your website.

This park mostly caters to members who are permanent. The short stay sites are an after thought. The short stay sites are level and gravel. The word that comes to mind is “barren”. The sites are awkward at best but easily accessed. The owners make you park in a certain direction that makes the hookups a stretch. In fact, we didn’t use the sewer while we were there because our hose wouldn’t reach. Now, can you pull your rig way up to accommodate the position? Yes. But then the cement patio is awkward. So you decide. The park itself is very nice. Lakes are clear and clean. Beach is good. We didn’t see the showers or bathroom because they are locked up tight. Staff leaves at 6pm and I tried to shower at 7:30. We were given no direction upon checkin about the showers so maybe they are for the full timers. The rules for full timers are different than overnight guests as well. For example; full timers can have golf carts, kayaks/boats etc. Over night guests can not. Owners claim it’s because their insurance won’t allow it. We didn’t try the wifi, as the owners said to “use it at your own risk.” Will we go back? Maybe but probably not. While it’s convenient and close, it doesn’t feel welcoming.

It is a private park with seasonal sites. There are about 20 sites which are used for short term stays. The sites are level, long and made of gravel separated by grass. They are oriented strange, with your RV facing away from the water and the connections in the front. We had to pull pretty far up, so we could connect our sewer. This however negates any benefit of shade provided by the small trees. There is a beach for swimming. Shower and restrooms are very far away, which we did not use.

Beautiful campground. Pull through sites were great!! Plenty of room for my 43ft fifth wheel and a spot to park my truck. Campground itself is very well kept and huge!!! Plenty of places to walk around and hike. Other people have commented on rude owners or guests, that was not my family’s experience at all!! Everyone we talked with was extremely friendly! Great campground and will definitely be back many times this summer!!

Owners are rude which is a reoccurring theme in the reviews. Camp site is small and crowded. Locals are even more rude than the owners. Who builds a camp site next to train tracks? If you want to get a good feel for the camp, just try and drive around to see it. Hint they won’t let you get far… Edit: The owners are lying in the reply. The speed limit was like 7.5 mph which I found odd having the 0.5 mph. So I went under that speed. The signs I didn't see until leaving which was an honest mistake.

Lovely spot. Three lakes to walk around for our morning walk. We did an overnight. In 50 years of camping, in the top five of bathroom facilities. Individual shower/toilet. Wonderful. No barking dogs.

We had a great experience this week! Our daughter had a softball tournament in Peoria so we decided to bring our camper rather than do a hotel. Extremely clean, safe and hospitable! Used the beach area and got some fishing in too . Thanks!!

Original 1 Star Review: "Private property see pics looks fun if you can get in" I had placed 1 star so that others like me do not go - but failed to realize that that is not reflective of the experience the members experience over there. It has now been changed to 5 stars - but if you don't have membership do not go there. (I think you needed an RV to get membership).
