Chimney Rock pioneer crossing is such a nice campground. Our camper needed some maintenance the owner was so sweet and helpful. He called a welder and we will get it fixed tomorrow morning. This campground has a great view of Chimney Rock. You are able to walk where the pioneers came through many years ago. This was a great location.

We loved our stay here! Joe arranged things so we could arrive 2 days earlier than expected, which was extremely generous. The views, the store, everything was perfection! We will definitely be back!

Great view of Chimney Rock from our camper! Bring bug spray and yes there is a train and its not bad.. we couldn't have picked a better place. We are getting up incredibly early to hit the road and are sad not to get to get ice cream and check out thre shop.. Chimney Rock was in our road trip list and it amazingly awesome not to even have to leave the camp ground to see it

We stayed here for a few days while exploring the area. Very nice campground. Owners were very friendly. Loved that you can get sandwiches and ice cream there. Wonderful view of Chimney Rock. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is absolutely beautiful! We could see chimney rock from our windows! We could also see the cows in the distance and we had a little geese family napping right out our window. Bunnies, birds, train whistles…a little slice of heaven!

This was such a nice spot! The owners were friendly and kind and generous. The sites are easy access and I think they are all pull-thru with full hook-up. There's a close and beautiful view of historic Chimney Rock with a sunset like a postcard, if the clouds allow. Visitor center is an easily walkable distance. Good gift shop with food available too. But the ice cream is the BEST, and fresh-rolled homemade cones!! Also, Veteran owned and operated. We had a major disaster of my own fault, and Joe was there on the spot to help me out, and got us back in shape and on the road quickly. Thanks a ton, Joe! May God bless you

This campground is a gem!! Nice large sites with picnic tables and a perfect view of Chimney Rock! At night they light Chimney Rock up! I would definitely stay again!!

This is a beautiful spot within a mile of Chimney Rock. Joe and Laura privately own it. The gift shop has quite a selection of novelties and yummy Blue Bunny ice cream. They also serve lunch until 3 pm. The property does not have bathrooms, laundry, or fire pits. You do have a picnic table and well-maintained pull-through spaces. I stayed here for a week at the beginning of September. The days are warm, and nights are chilly.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is great with Chimney Rock just up the road. Great views of the Rock at night as it is illuminated. Grounds are well maintained & gift shop has a nice selection! Fresh made ice cream cones fills the shop, they are yummy! Glad we stayed here over Scotts Bluff!!

This is a lovely, small and very clean RV park with spacious sites. Chimney Rock is about a mile away and the RV park has the best views of this landmark - especially sunrise is gorgeous and also when the moon sets next to illuminated Chimney Rock at night. The owner lives nearby, takes care of anything and is very helpful. We stayed two weeks and absolutely enjoyed our time there. Can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

The only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! Beautiful location, clean, friendly sites. It's small unassuming place to stay and has a lot of open space around it. Little ice cream shop/country storewith BIG ice cream cones and other odds and ends. Wow. LOVED THIS PLACE. Every site has the best view. 😍

We had been driving all day and had stopped for fuel in Alliance around 4:30 pm, looked around and couldn't find anywhere we wanted to stay. Googled near by RV Camping and came across Chimney Rock Pioneer Crossing. Called and spoke with Joe just before he was closing for the day. Got assigned a spot, made it there about 5:47 pm and Joe was there to meet us, how nice. He offered us some cucumbers from his garden WOW! Chimney Rock was an awesome sight to see and they light it up at night, also wow. Kind owners and enjoyed sunset and the sunrise too. Thumbs up!
