Chinook Campground

So I love this place but made the mistake I guess of booking after Labor Day. Almost Everything is closed and shut down. No ice cream or restaurant; the Nook is closed. There were no bouncy houses or train; the arcade was closed for some reason and the office was too. The coffee shop was still open in the morning; but that’s it. Again I love this place; but this should be advertised on CampSpot. We left a whole day early and forfeited our money and the money for the golf cart because there was nothing to do. Wasn’t the same as when we stayed in the Summer. Not even close.

Absolutely amazing campground. The staff goes above and beyond for guests and were there for any questions or help that was needed. The tubing available from the property is convenient and very affordable. Always fun activities for kids to do. I will never use another campground in Michigan except Chinook. We have used it for 2 years for a family/friend week trip and will continue doing so for years to come! Can’t say enough how amazing and fun this campground is.
