Choccolocco Creek Campground

Yo Joe.
I had my wife call this place on April 21 to ask simple questions about possible booking a two day stay this upcoming weekend, and the man she spoke with on the phone was short and rude. I'm not interested is giving someone like that money to pull my camper to for a short get away if they act like a jerk on the phone to my wife.

We found ourselves a little gem in Estaboga Al. John has a great park with everything you need. He put us in a great site in the woods with full hookups .after traveling all day it was awesome to relax by a campfire and enjoy nature . As an avid camper I can honestly same this was perfect. John is a super laid back guy and enjoyed talking with him. Will definitely stay there again don't think you'll find any better.

I stayed here two days at first, and ended up staying long term. Mr. John, the property manager, is the main reason we like this property, he’s such an honest, respectful, and laid back man. He’ll take care of you your entire stay and he’s always there for his tenants. The property is beautiful, quite, and kept neat and clean. Nothing too fancy but if you like the country vibes and waking up to fresh air every day and an rv park that feels like a little community, this is the place for you

One of the neatest places we have been! Looking for a place last minute and ran upon this immaculate tucked away unique campground. The owner was very nice and prompt. We had a great time and we will definitely be back❤️ -Very safe for families. -

I do not normally do not leave reviews, but I really have to make an exception for this place and the owner John. This is a wonderful place. Comfortable. Beautiful. Clean. Private sites. Bathrooms with showers and hot water. A place to wash cloths for those extended stays. Electric hook ups. Running water at campsites. Firewood for sale or you can go into the wooded trails that he has made and gather your own. And an owner that takes pride in his establishment. It is by far the best campground I have stayed at in the Florida, Alabama and Mississippi areas. It's facilities are definitely unique being made out of silos. A personal touch that I truly enjoyed. John, the owner has done a fantastic job and continues to add his creative touches. My wife and I stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. The area is well located to attractions and things to do. Most being within a 30 minute drive of the state and national parks. We went to Barbers Sotorsports museum which was just an hour away. I could continue to write so much more but not to many people want to read a novel as a review. Let me finish by saying that this place feels like home away from home and John did a great job of making my wife and I fell welcome.

Welcome to John's Choccolocco Creek Campground. Nestled at the top of Choccolocco Creek mountain you will find 5 to 6 camping sites with electricity, water, and sewer hookups and some tent sites. We just setup at site #4 which is well shaded overlooking the valley. You can hear local traffic but still very peaceful and John adds the personal touch everywhere you look and we've only been here 3 hours. Signature 'chicken feed bin' bathrooms with shower, and a washer and dryer available too. All very clean and functional. Drive thru level sites make it easy to setup. This is our 1st try at the Hipcamp app which is how we found this place and this makes it well worth it. So if you're passing through Alabama, give John a call and he will be glade to Welcome you.

Quiet, tranquil, clean and very unique facilities, laundry on site, creek access, trails, wildlife. Private property owned by great people. Mr. Germany was very accommodating and easy to talk to. Super nice. Full hook-ups, pets welcome, campfires encouraged. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay! This will be our home away from home when we come to the area.
