Love all of the recent updates. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do outside of gambling. The pool is top notch in the summer. The cabanas are well worth the expense! My only complaint is the showers not having a door or curtain (lots of airflow no matter how hot the water is… it gets cold), also be aware majority of the rooms do not offer a microwave only a mini fridge. I believe the “premium” rooms do come with one. There unfortunately does not seem to be room service, which is also a little disappointing for the full stay experience. Overall we have visited dozens of times and will continue. Very easy drive from Dallas and conveniently located right of the highway.

This casino is an absolute disgrace — a complete rip-off. It’s bloody cheap and not even remotely worth your time or money. There are no real payouts, just endless collection of “ante” fees — $0.50 or $1 every single hand. They call it law or some kind of regulation, but that’s the biggest joke of all. That’s where they’re already raking in huge profits before anyone even gets a chance to play. If you’re a serious or professional gambler, especially in blackjack, do yourself a favor and stay far away. They’ve got barely a handful of tables running, and for baccarat — it’s even worse — you can’t touch the cards. Total buzzkill. And don’t even get me started on poker. It’s chaos, mismanaged, and feels rigged to drain your chips rather than give you a fair game. This entire place is a waste of time, money, and energy for anyone who actually knows how to play. They’ll even shut down the non-smoking section early, and when it’s near closing time, they’ll make sure you don’t win — suddenly the “luck” disappears because they want the tables cleared. Holiday events? Total disaster. Whether it’s Halloween, New Year’s, or any special weekend — nobody wins, everyone walks out broke and pissed. If you’re from Dallas and feel trapped because it’s the closest casino, just drive to Louisiana instead. It’s a longer 2–3 hour drive, but at least you’ll find real action, fair tables, and better atmosphere. This Durant casino sits right by the border and it’s a complete waste. Nobody tips the dealers because nobody ever wins. Even the dealers look miserable — they’ll tell you straight up they make $5–6 an hour, and that they only do better if you win… but that almost never happens. Bottom line: avoid this place at all costs

Rooms were nice with large restrooms. First and foremost.. I GET it's a casino, but it would be nice for the main entrance and check in desk to be in an area other than the main casino area where the smell of cigarettes smack you in the face as you walk in the main door. And if you have kids.. I would say it is cool they have things to do for kids (movie theater, arcade and bowling) in the non smoking area... but to get to that area you have walk through the smoking section.

Omg the rooms are great! The entire hotel is amazing! It's kid friendly and many fun things to do with family. We had a great time and we only stayed 1 night. I really enjoyed the casino, that had all my favorite slot machine so I wasn't disappointed. The drinks was 👌🏾🫠, lol. So many bars throughout the casino and pool area. I really like the fact that they have a kid-friendly pool separate from the adult pool area. JUST GO VISIT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Came for our 25th Anniversary. Stayed at the Sky Tower hotel this time. Beautiful decor, quiet room on 10th floor. Walk in shower and balcony over the pool. Casino had a large number of slots and tables, old and new. Busy in the evening, but many games available to play. Lots of great food places and a large arcade for kids with bowling, movies and carvel ice cream available to purchase. For us sports fans several locations to watch football games and all our food was great. Appreciated having Starbucks near the elevators, as I am not much for making my own coffee while on the road. A wonderful get away with slots that do pay out, so had fun winning! Easy drive up from Texas, right off of 75 so can't miss it. Fee Valet was nice! Can't wait to go back for another weekend.

Entertainment for the ENTIRE FAMILY. Bowling alley, movies, snacks, food, arcade and ADULT GAMING AT ITS FINEST. The restrooms are ALWAYS clean and the staff is very helpful. The HIGH LIMIT room has the busiest slot attendants because of the frequent taxable payouts, if you know what i mean. With the newly opened Onyx tower this truly beats any Vegas casino. You do not need to leave the resort for anything as it is well equipped for a few days stay.

Plenty of fun. Best to go on a week night, like a Tuesday or Wednesday. Less crowded. The newest non-smoking area is awesome and has a ton of different games. Even on a busy night, you're still able to find a machine to sit down at. I don't play table haves so I can't help you with that!

Excellent staff. Very friendly. Superb customer service. Pristine facilities. Easily navigated layout. Variety of games with high frequency allowing players their choice despite crowd size. Rewards Member program offering creative gifts as well as participation in Event Giveaways. I would like to see more Keno options/varieties as well as more Keno machines spread throughout the casino.

Beautiful casino and hotel (Sky Tower)! Loved every minute of our stay here! Great food selections! The noodle shop was a particular delight. Get a players club card as the promos are really good! He stayed there one weekend and earned free nights right after. The staff and dealers are awesome!

We had a wonderful experience at the Choctaw Casino in Durant! Our first time here and we came as a large family group to celebrate a birthday. Hannah at the front desk was exceptional! She worked so hard to get all our family grouped close together and was so friendly and professional! Josiah our bell cap loaded up several of our rooms luggage and was so sweet and kind as he unloaded each person's belongings and went room to room for us, then he got us again the next day when we left! Emily in the Salt and Stone was outstanding and took such good care of us, she made us feel right at home. The hotel rooms were so new and clean, the amenities perfect. I can't say enough about the way we were treated from the valet to the beverage steward, we will definitely be back!!
