Great place to camp or just get away for the day and very affordable! Bathrooms and showers around the lake, multiple walking trails and pet friendly! I love it every time I go and it’s really clean!

Very peaceful. Good roads going in. We took the bike out on a little day trip. Very clean and well kept. The west side of the lake (from hwy 15 side) is paved. All other entry points are gravel.

Only came for the trails which are quite nice. The lake loop is wide, flat gravel with wood paths over the water. Lots of restrooms and benches, plenty of shade. Limited VZW signal throughout the park but I usually had 1-2 bars of 4G.

What a beautiful lake and a great hike. We did the red trail that was connected to a white trail and then the lake. I do not advise taking your dogs on the red trail as it is a little wet in there and we did encounter wildlife that may be dangerous to your animals.

Women's bathroom shower did not work. Camp host solution was to tell my wife to shower in the mens bathroom. Internet is non-existent. Even cell phones did not work. It is pretty outside but bathrooms are full of wolf spiders and not clean. Only half the lights work. Camp loops are super narrow and completely beat up. Don't reserve anything down the 1-12 loop unless you want to replace tires. Do not recommend at all.
