Super nice urban campsite. Really nice grounds and very clean facilities. Being urban the road and train noise is noticeable but also reduces at night. Great walking trails right from the campsite also.

Nice little campground & for being in town it's very quiet. There's only one shower in each of the two bathrooms but there's usually not a wait. Free Wi-Fi is available when staying at the campground, although I haven't tested how far from the office it goes. The river runs right beside the campground, there's a really neat museum across the highway, walking trails along the river. Definitely a great place to stop for a night when traveling through or just stay for a weekend.

This Park is in the city which is good as there are places you can walk. But it is also bad as the Park has ALOT of day users who ignore signs and drive through the camp area. No sewer and the one bath house has a single toilet, shower, urinal and that is for the entire Park to include day users (men’s side). With the traffic we were not comfortable leaving anything outside. Nice grass, site was gravel and somewhat level. Picnic table and fire pit that was full of trash, meaning sites are not cleaned daily and is our reason for two stars. We did enjoy the walking path so another plus. We would have given four stars had our fire pit been clean.

This is such a great campsite! I came here as kid because we always wanted to see who was camping at River Park. I come here now to spend time with family and friends and really appreciate the chance to be one of those campers. The grounds are always so well kept. The guest centre and washrooms are spotless and the staff do a great job of ensuring that things are in order - not an easy thing to do when you are dealing with public facilities. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and have always made my stay here an enjoyable one. Looking forward to next time! John H

Very nice and safe campground. Big rig friendly, but look at the campground and select a site without trees. Near beautiful river, water park, frisbee golf, town, etc.
