Unfortunately, I don’t want to give this place one star because the owner and the rest of the staff are always extremely welcoming and kind — but it’s that one worker who completely ruins the experience for everyone else. I really didn’t want to post this, but I’ve had enough with this same worker. Every time I go in, it’s an issue — last time, he literally threw my change and receipt at me. Today was the last straw. I called this morning several times with no answer, so I went in to get my propane filled. The same worker was sitting on his phone, looked at me annoyed, and acted like I was bothering him for showing up. The man who came to fill my tank took about five minutes, which I didn’t mind at all, but the rude worker started talking badly about him right in front of me, which was so uncomfortable. Then another man wearing a vest started preaching to me about “the Lord’s word” without even saying if I was okay with it. Moments later when I go in to pay, I saw him inside with that same worker, buying what appeared to be marijuana and when they realized I saw them, they were surprised and tried to offer me some. Completely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for a place with such a respected name.

Overall the stay here was extremely wonderful. Everyone at the store & hotel were friendly, but most importantly welcoming! Unfortunately the only problem that I had here was the moment we were pulling into our space there was this tenant who goes by the name “Dolly” who literally wouldn’t leave our side throughout the whole stay, it got to the point that I got so much gossip about people that I didn’t even know nor met which was extremely annoying and uncomfortable. I would 100% come back but mostly definitely we will let the store know if they can give us a space far far away from that tenant.

Family ran. Greatest place I have ever stayed. Staff so friendly. The owners are history of Salinas Valley. I do recommend this quiet peaceful atmosphere.

We have been staying long term in our motorhome for a couple months in between homes. Prices reasonable, but more than that they make you feel like family. They will help you if you need it regarding your rv space promptly. They keep up the rv park with nice trees, lawns, and flowering plants.

Very quiet, inexpensive, pet friendly, truck parking, excellent showers in the motel room, fridge/freezer, microwave, air conditioned, laundry room and pool area is spic and span clean. Beds are very comfy with old style chenille bed spreads. Smoker friendly too. Small convenience store with liquor is the office, and the wild horse cafe with excellent food is right next door. And it's 30 miles from Salinas where we pick up reefer loads a couple times a week. Great find for us! Love it here.

Very quiet park considering it is just off the 101. Jack gave us a warm welcome and got us settled. Large sites and excellent facilities, spacious showers and toilets, very clean. In the scheme of things the price at $42. 00 is OK.
