Location & Surroundings

Located in Palm Harbor, the park sits near the shores of Lake Tarpon, a 2,500-acre freshwater gem famous for world-class bass fishing and boating. The surrounding area is a blend of quiet residential pockets and accessible commercial corridors, ensuring guests have easy access to grocery stores and diverse local dining. A major highlight for outdoor enthusiasts is the park's proximity to the Pinellas Trail, a massive multi-use path that connects various coastal communities, making it an excellent spot for cyclists and walkers seeking an active escape.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed with modern RVers in mind, offering full hookup sites that accommodate various rig sizes with both 30 and 50-amp service. Guests can cool off in the heated swimming pool or relax in the shade of the mature trees that dot the property. For those traveling with pets, the KampK9 dog park provides a dedicated, fenced space for furry friends to exercise. Additional conveniences include clean laundry facilities, a community pavilion, and a well-stocked camp store for supplies, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free stay for long-term guests and weekenders alike.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure awaits just outside the park gates with several iconic Florida destinations nearby. A short drive leads to Honeymoon Island State Park, where visitors can enjoy pristine white sands, shelling, and nature trails. Culture seekers often head to the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks to experience authentic Greek cuisine and unique maritime history. For a more urban experience, the vibrant downtown areas of Dunedin and Clearwater offer local breweries, artisan shops, and the famous sunset celebrations at Pier 60, providing endless entertainment options for every preference.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is ideal for active retirees and families who want a centralized home base while exploring the Tampa Bay region. It appeals to travelers who value a predictable, high-quality experience with plenty of on-site amenities rather than a secluded, rustic wilderness. This is one of the finest cabins ive ever stayed in. The service was uvsurpassible. The manager Christopfer, was most kind, professional and accommodating with a great staff. The grounds and pool were impeccable and the pool was heated to boot. Great stay and as bad as I cant stand Pasco county. I'm looking forward to another stay here. Thanks guys and gals. Not the best for a KOA. Absolutely nothing to do within walking distance. Of any KOA in the state I've been to, the smalles rv sites of all. Hope you really like your neighbors. Staff isn't necessarily local to thos specific area. Not much knowledge of fun things to do here outside of, "just go to the sponge docks". Aftwr 5 minutes that trip is done. They could use more upbeat people with better knowledge of the area.

If you’re coming to this area, its the best of KOA. So clean and safe. Staff is friendly and passionate about making your stay perfect. The Manager is an amazing good person and is very connected. You get a comp breakfast and a great pool, showers and game room. The secret garden was so special and the cabins are in a tropical rainforest. The general store saved us many times… five stars is way too low a grade for this KOA.., Bravo”

This is an RV campground, not a hotel. The sites are small and it’s very difficult to drive around or park in this RV park. It has all the fixings but on a small scale. There’s a small playground a small putt putt. The pool is nice and the store within the lobby is also very nice. They have a lot of RV and camping things. They have a nice outdoor lounge area well done. They have a nice laundromat, however the washing machine machines are much smaller than my machine at home and they cost $3.50 per wash which is excessive.
