Their canoe/kayak rental prices are misleading. The first day counts till dusk no matter when you rent the canoe. Which I thought was very unfair. If I’m renting a canoe today at 3 pm, the first day of rental should end tomorrow 3pm. Unfortunately if you want to rent a canoe and go camp at a backcountry campground, you have to rent it for at least two days! That is very greedy. Other than that, the staffs and everyone was super nice and helpful. They helped us get a spot at the Clearwater campground as well upon our return. My advice, if you want to rent a canoe/kayak, go early so you can make the bang for your buck.

We originally booked a canoe tour at Clearwater Lake, but due to the uncertain weather, we decided to switch to the boat tour instead – and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! The tour (on August 7, 2025) took us all the way up to Azure Lake, passing by several beautiful waterfalls before reaching the Rainbow Falls. There, we enjoyed a short hike to the falls and even had the chance to rent a canoe. Lunch was served right on the beach, which made the experience even more special. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting information along the way. All in all, it was a wonderful experience that we can highly recommend!

We looked at doing the full day tour and the smaller 1-2 hour tour. We opted for the smaller tour on the electric boat (Duffy) and were pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect choice for our party of 7 (2 adults, 2 seniors, 3 kids (11, 9, 5). The slower pace let us enjoy the scenery and dip our toes in the water. The kids had a blast being able to sit at the front, back, and everywhere in-between. My mother-in-law spotted numerous birds which she loved. Our driver, Denise, was born and raised in the area which means he was a wealth of knowledge and absolutely loved his "office job". I would certainly recommend this as an slower paced option to get out on the water.

The Rainbow Falls boat tour was the highlight of our trip. Warren was friendly, knowledgable and great fun! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! The beach picnic, followed by a slice of delicious homemade streusel, was so good that we stopped by the cafe the next day for another slice. On the boat ride over to Azure lake we saw what we believed to be a Golden Eagle. It would have been amazing to see more wildlife, but this obviously can’t be guaranteed. I’d love to come back and take the tour again in the hopes of seeing more creatures!

We recently went on a 6-hour boat tour and had a mixed experience. Our guide, Warren, was absolutely fantastic — very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. He truly made the trip more enjoyable with his energy and insights. However, one major downside was the noise level on the boat. It was extremely loud, consistently over 90 decibels, creating a constant droning sound that became quite uncomfortable over time. Given the duration of the tour, I would strongly recommend bringing hearing protection. It would have made a significant difference in our overall comfort. All in all, the sights and the guide were great, but the excessive noise is something future travelers should be prepared for.

An enjoyable day on the lakes. Our guide explained some background of the area while taking us to many interesting waterfalls and other sites on the two lakes. It was smoky skies for us courtesy of nearby forest fires, but we didn't let that effect our good time on board. Lunch near Rainbow falls was provided and water is also available during the tour. There is free time after lunch for swimming or canoeing - we just chilled on the beach for a while before heading back.

Took the boat tour. Warren was an excellent guide and very informative. Extra guide Chris was super friendly! We had an amazing day on the water and a lovely lunch even with the extreme high water levels and covid protocols! Thanks for a great time! Worth the price!!!!
