The campground is a little rustic but has full amenities. Lots of trees, the price very reasonable.we make this one of our stops every year to and from Texas for the winter.

We recently stayed at Cloud 9 RV Park and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, the water was turned off at our site. We went to the office during posted business hours, but no one answered the door despite a vehicle being present. We knocked, rang the doorbell camera, and called the listed phone number, leaving a message. The next day we tried again during office hours. The doorbell camera was answered, and we were told the water had been shut off due to a leak and that someone would return in 15–30 minutes to resolve it. No one came. As a result, we went a full 24 hours of our already short three-night stay without water. Several hours later, as we were preparing to leave for another campground, we tried once more. Again, we were told someone would arrive shortly. Eventually, a staff member arrived but did not speak to us. She simply removed the cover from the pipe and turned the water back on. This could have been handled much earlier with clear communication. When we expressed our frustration about the lack of response, we were told she had just been discharged from the hospital following a total hip replacement and was waiting on discharge before coming in. However, she appeared to be walking normally without the use of a cane, walker, or crutches. The apology that followed was offered over her shoulder as she walked away, which felt dismissive and insincere. Beyond the water issue, the park itself appears poorly maintained. Trash was scattered throughout the grounds, exposed cables were running across sites, and posted rules (no pet fences or outside structures) were not enforced. While we do not object to pet fencing, several dogs were left unattended and barked constantly, making it difficult to enjoy time outside. We enjoy using our pet fences and sitting outside with our dogs. One neighboring fifth wheel appeared abandoned, with visible mold and only power connected. This was the dirtiest and most poorly managed park we have stayed at. I would strongly encourage prospective guests to visit in person before booking.

The manager is lazy and lies. 3 times I tried to reach her and I was told she ran to town to have the water tested and would be back soon, but she was gone all day and never went to the office. Our reservation was for November and December and we had an in depth conversation about us going out of state in January. She charged mt credit card for a month rental after we had been gone for 3 days. I called her for a refund twice and twice I was told she had already done it and it would just take a few days to show on my account. It never did so I had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charges. In the 2 months we stayed no one checked the grounds or did any cleaning of the facility. I complained about the camper beside us, he left dog poop everywhere and wasn't cleaning it up. She said this happened all the time. So why is he still there? Overall, not an enjoyable stay.

Absolutely recommend, beautiful place, friendly and quiet. Fur baby friendly. Pamela, the manager was very helpful and friendly. Responded quickly to emails. Will stay again and want to check out the other Cloud Nine Parks

Mostly long term live-in residents, ill-maintained trailers, clutter and pit bulls. Cats roaming everywhere. Accumulated filth in the clubhouse kitchen. Cockroches in the cupboards and coffee maker. Management subpar. I would suggest you drive through before booking. Don't go by the website pictures or u-tube video. My advice would be to bypass this park and stay at a state park.
