Took a motorcycle training course at the citrus fairgrounds in Cloverdale with instructors Stephen and Charles. I passed with flying colors and there was plenty of space provided with the use of their motorcycles. Hands down a great course to take. Referenced by the dmv for beginner and also offering advance courses. When successfully completed, it gets you a free pass for the dmv skills test when you apply for your motorcycle license at dmv. 😊 🏍

The Citrus Fair in Cloverdale is one of the best fairs around, and you should definitely visit if you have the chance. The fairgrounds are kept clean, and overall are very well organized. Upon walking in the through the ticket booth and security checkpoint (metal detectors and bag inspection), you’ll be able to browse through many different vendors, citrus displays, and shop booths ranging from cable companies, Cutco, local fudge and almond roasting, clothing, woodworking, caricature, and much more. There is a great variety of rides, including some that children under 36” tall are allowed to ride. The majority of rides do require children to be above the 36” height however. After walking through the booths and entering the grounds, you’ll be able to peruse the many different food vendors, beer booths, 4H demonstrations, and fair rides/games. You name it, they have it. The prices are as to be expected, with food ranging from $7-$20 per item or plate, and beer and drinks ranging from $7-$10 per beverage. There are multiple restrooms located towards the entrance of the fairgrounds, and navigating the park is easy due to the entire thing being on pavement (making wheelchairs and strollers for children easy to use). Parking at the school behind the grounds costs $10, and is well worth the money considering the walk you might have to endure from the street. This is one of the best fairs around, and absolutely a place you could spend one full day at. We highly recommend it.

Stayed at the RV park a few nights (as of July 2019 $33/night). Lady in office is super friendly and helpful. Only 4 sites have full hook up but rest still have water and electric. Site we had was only 50 amp so needed an adapter for my 30 amp. Gated and super quiet. Walking distance to downtown.

Been bringing my family here for years. Love the small town fair atmosphere. Very family friendly and smaller than most but as far as comparisons it's better than the Sonoma County Fair.... Less drama, less bs, family friendly, and all around great!
