I called ahead to see if they had an available RV spot for the night. She said yes and it would be $38. Showed up, nobody was around, called again and was told to pick any spot and it would be $35. Figured out that it is only 15 AMP and the water wasn't turned on yet. The place was 100% empty. We decided it wasn't worth the money when we literally only get a place to park so we left. Giving these details so others know that there isn't necessarily a set price and that the RV site are only 15 AMP so be aware.

I was really surprised by the quality and size of the room for the price. I just needed a single room for one night and I think I got a suite. (separate bedroom and kitchen) The room was very clean, well furnished and large. The check in process was seamless and quite easy. There was no human contact other than the phone. I would recommend this motel highly.

Not the best choice for pulling in with a 45 foot 5er. Great for a small bumper pull rig. Accommodating folks though, and we had a good night sleep. I would return… with a little rig. 😊

Even though I live locally in the area,they have been very accommodating to my needs. Rooms are very clean,smell nice. Very spacious. And they have a wonderful staff. It's the only hotel I will stay at in the area.

This is the first bad review I've ever left for a place, and I really didn't want to but others travelling with dogs need to be warned. We stayed here for one night with our 2 dogs, paying pet fees for both dogs. We're happy to pay these fees because we know it's standard. After we left and checked out we got a call saying they charged our credit cards an extra $50 because they had to "throw out the bedding because there was dog hair on it." We've stayed in more motels than I can count with our dogs and this has never once been an issue before. I'm not sure why they couldn't just wash the bedding like everyone else does. The entire night ended up being close to $200 after that charge which was completely unacceptable. The $50 charge was for them to "buy brand new bedding" but I'm confused at what the pet fees were for if they're not for cleaning. They basically admitted to not washing their bedding and then made us pay for it. Please don't stay here with dogs unless they're hairless. We've stayed at 2 other motels with our dogs in Vanderhoof and they were nothing but good experiences.

Staff was very friendly but room was terrible. I worked here 20 yrs ago and the rooms were in much better condition and the owner had pride. Not sure if same owner but pride is definitely missing. Old old old. Paint is chipping. Wallpaper is torn, ceiling in bathroom is spotted with yellow from moisture. Kitchen appliances (toaster, stove) are old and need replacing. Stove bowls were dirty. Walls are either scrubbed grey or dirty. Pillows were terrible. No phone in room to call desk. Towels are stained. One facecloth had brown staining (looked like poop). Body towel had yellow and orangey stains. Blankets were awesome and having temperature control in each room is great.

Kitchenettes are quite nice but have no oven. Beds in both kitchenette units I experienced were very comfortable. Highway noise is disturbing but did not bother me once I put in some ear plugs. Owner is very accommodating and helpful. I enjoyed staying there off and on over a three week period while working in the area.
