24 miles to Flagstaff, a good camping area close to the lake and great for families. However, there were several downsides: our lot was small with too many big rocks on the ground, and there was almost no flat surface to set up a tent. There was also no quiet time—people watched movies and talked loudly until almost 2 a.m. Although family-friendly, two separate babies were crying during the night, so be prepared for frequent wake-ups. On the positive side, Ranger David was great—kind and helpful. There is water access and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it was okay. I might try another lot like #8, but ours (#20) was awful—I would never book it again.

A rather Slow drive due to 90% of the road being NON-Maintained washboard and it's narrow (single width), so try to find a flat spot immediately Off the road when people come to pass you. Very good people fishing and it was rather quiet except laughing in the distance, which is a good thing.

It is a campground outdoor potties or bring your own potties. It's out in the woods. It's great for fishing and cam being you're just to get away for the day.

Asher Lake is a great location. Only 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix. We caught four rainbow trout and did some hiking around the lake beautiful area.

The Campground was nice, the host was very nice and helpful, really clean bathrooms. The worst was the boat ramp it is so tore up its 4-wheel drive only! We watched several people have to be towed up the ramp We could not launch our boat, very disappointing when you plan on fishing for a week and you have to sit on shore. Would live to go back, not until the ramp is as advertised on their website. It needs to be noted so others like us don't have to sit on shore 4-WHEEL DRIVE ONLY BOAT LAUNCH!! be aware!!

Such a cute campground! I loved the location, is was super close to the actual lake. The campsites themselves were very clean and spacious, and there were a lot available when we arrived. The host is super friendly and always available for questions and requests. Definitely recommend!

The place is clean and the camp hosts are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Small lake is great for a more intimate experience. My dog had a blast. Driving there in September was so breath taking. The meadows were full of beautiful flowers. I feel comfortable enough to camp there solo.

Campground was great, said it was stocked for fish but didn't get a bite in three days. They need to have accessible bathrooms but we're locked.

Rocky and dusty, but so worth it, low 80s with a breeze during the day, 50s and more stars than you can count at night. Lake is cold and refreshing, camp host friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Vault toilets, kinda hard to explain, they are stinky but they are super clean. Potable water and dumpsters for our trash. Fire restrictions were just lifted so we enjoyed a small campfire.
