Off the beaten path for a reason, too far for The riff Raff to mess it up. Clean, spacious, well maintained sites for Campers. Had a great relaxing weekend, will camp here again.

Great campsites - clean and we'll kept area. First come first serve but there was plenty of camping sites available even over memorial day weekend. Lake is great for kayaking and trout fishing. We did both. The only draw back is the 21 mile wash board dirt road to get to the campsite.

We spent one night here on May 26th. It was very clean and well kept. Probably one of the nicest individual camp sites that I have had anywhere. Since it was a Tuesday night early in the season, only a few campsites were occupied, so it was super quiet. It was chilly, lows were around 40. There are several vault toilets that were clean and well kept. We fished in the lake several times. We didn’t catch anything, but that’s probably us and not the lake. It took us about an hour and 10 minutes to drive the gravel roads along the rim into the campground. Roads were nice in some spots and rough in others. I am glad that we made the trek in to this beautiful location.

Gated off on 5/13. Nothing at all concerning closures online, so I got all the way there and had to turn around and find another place to camp. Stage 1 fire restrictions mean the campground closes down?? Some notice would have been great.

One of the best sites I've camped at so far. It is rocky as heck so make sure to bring a sturdy truck, 4x4, AWD or any of the kind. There is a picnic table at each site, a bathroom, and the lake is about half a mile up the road. For sure you might see deer and such. A worthy place to spend a weekend!

Love this place except on holiday weekends. Can get overwhelming and packed. But any other time it has been wonderful. The good thing is, if the campsite gets filled, there is lots of primitive camping sites along the forest roads. The lake it beautiful and we love bringing our kayak here. Lots of elk sightings in this area.

Went up there Sept. 22 - 24. Camp ground was very nice and clean. Ranger drove through was super friendly and answered some questions I had. Spaces were plenty big and had a nice concrete picknic bench a large fire pit and BBQ. The lake was a little less than a mile down the road. There is NO camping by the lake. And when we were there the lake was real low. We will return.

What an amazing location!!! No cell reception which is perfect!!! Loved being able to disconnect and relax! Super friendly and helpful camp hosts. We where the fist ones here this season. No running water so bring plenty. Clean camp grounds with plenty of great spots. $14.00 per night cash for single site and 28 per night for a double spot. I will be back for sure!
