Coho RV Park & Marina

Overview

Coho RV Park & Marina serves as a welcoming retreat for travelers exploring the rugged beauty of the Oregon Coast. Located in the heart of Reedsport, this park offers a serene waterfront setting along the banks of Scholfield Creek. Unlike more crowded coastal destinations, this park provides a relaxed atmosphere where the focus is on the natural surroundings and the local waterways. It is a well-maintained facility that blends the convenience of city access with the quiet charm of a traditional marina environment.

Location & Surroundings

The park is situated at the meeting point of the Umpqua, Smith, and Scholfield rivers, placing visitors in a prime position for aquatic exploration. The surrounding landscape is defined by lush coastal forests and sprawling tidal wetlands. Reedsport itself is known as the gateway to the Oregon Dunes, and the park’s location allows for quick transitions between the dense evergreen woods and the towering sand structures nearby. Staying here means waking up to riverfront views and the fresh scent of the Pacific breeze.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed to accommodate a variety of rigs with level sites offering full hookup services, including both 30 and 50-amp electricity. For those traveling with watercraft, the on-site private marina and boat launch provide immediate access to the creek and river system. Essential comforts are well-covered with clean restroom and shower facilities, a laundry room, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. Anglers will particularly appreciate the covered fish cleaning station, which is a centerpiece of the park’s utility for the local fishing community.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Reedsport is home to the Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area, where visitors can spot Roosevelt elk in their natural habitat just a short drive from the park. Adventure seekers often head to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area for off-roading and hiking across massive sand dunes. The nearby Umpqua Lighthouse State Park offers iconic photography opportunities and history. For those who prefer the water, the region is famous for salmon and steelhead fishing, as well as crabbing and clamming in the nearby Winchester Bay.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is ideally suited for outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize access to water sports and fishing. Its quiet, functional layout makes it an excellent choice for long-term travelers or retirees looking for a peaceful home base while exploring the central coast. Because of the marina facilities, it is a top pick for boaters and anglers wanting to minimize the distance between their RV and the dock. If you prefer a laid-back environment over a high-activity resort, Coho RV Park & Marina fits the bill perfectly.

Great place to stop for a couple nights with your travel trailer or Motorhome. Very clean and quiet. Loved our spot we got. Pull thru was easy in and out.

We stayed here for a week. My local family was concerned when I told them where we were staying. Apparently, there used be unsavory RV guests before. But times have changed. The place is clean and quiet. My husband left me here for four days, I felt safe while he was gone. They do a military discount, so ask. Sites are big and far enough apart to feel spacious. We will return.

Nice RV park located in town so it's easy access to the various stores, supermarkets, gas stations, and a great bakery as well. Full hookups though the yard is gravel but there are grassy areas with picnic tables at your site.

We stayed here in a fifth wheel RV. The spot was a pull through, had lots of room and a nice picnic table. The Campgeound is quiet and very clean. The laundry room and amenity room was also very nice. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The RV spots are decent size we backed up to the water. There’s a berm that's a bit high so from ground level we couldn't see water, but we could out the windows of the 5th wheel as we set up high. Park is clean, well kept. Full hook ups The staff was very nice. Got us checked in quickly. Very convenient to grocery store 1 block away. No amenities
